INTRODUCTION
Greetings in the name of Jehovah!
I’m glad you decided to take action to address to your secret sin(s). We all have sins that we would rather keep hidden from prying eyes or wagging tongues. At some point in our lives, we all have tried to avoid shame by putting forth a polished image, hidden behind the veil of half-truths. Or we may have done things we thought were justifiable at the time but were actually deemed sins in the sight of God.
This book does not dwell on the sin, but rather focuses on God’s simple remedy for sin. Our goal is to overcome secret sins by exposing it to the Light. In order to expose it, we need to become aware of the strategies the enemy uses to ensnare and tempt us to walk in the shadows. If we submit to God and resist the temptation to compromise (to become dim lights,) the enemy will flee from us (James 4:7).
However, if we fall into evil (sin) the way out is through repentance and confession. As believers, we’re called to weed sin, out of our lives. We are to lay hold of ourselves and judge sin, as sin. We are not to rationalize, reason, cast blame, deny, hide, or justify wrongdoing.
Those who refuse to acknowledge their sin will eventually have to stand before the Lamb on the Day of Judgment. If we follow God’s mandate to repent and confess our sins we’ll secure our place in the light of his presence. If we refuse, we have chosen to be children of disobedience traveling along the path of darkness and not the way of light through Christ Jesus.
In this 15-day devotional, we will examine 15 Bible verses on Secret Sins. We’ll learn how God views secret sins, His prescribed course of action and we’ll discover if there truly is something called hidden sins in the sight of God. In addition, we’ll learn how to become aware of our secret sins and how to expose them to the Light of Christ.
Each devotional is based on the Hebrew or Greek interpretation of the scripture. The daily activities give you the opportunity to search the Word and gain deeper understanding of God’s Word. We use the Strong’s Concordance references which are also online at http://blueleterbible.org to search out the deeper truths of God’s Word by examining their root meanings. All scriptures are from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.
If you’re committed to living the life God intended for you from the very foundation of the world, then by faith seize this opportunity to be cleansed.
Here’s to your VICTORY over secret sins!

DAY 1
GOD SHALL BRING EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT
"For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
—Ecclesiastes 12:14
Judgment, a concept that many believers have difficulty with
