About this ebook

Robin: “I’m so in love that I can’t think straight. What was I thinking to have Edward in my bed when I know he’s going to be married soon and he’s having a baby with that witch, Maggie?”

Edward: “What am I thinking? I should have said that I wouldn’t marry Maggie. We can still have a relationship but it will be as parents to our child. Do I sacrifice my only happiness and the happiness of Robin to satisfy Maggie?”

What will Robin do when she discovers she too is pregnant?

Body and Soul - Erica Storm

    Robin:

Edward led everyone out of the room and closed the door behind him. I guess he couldn’t tell Maggie or his mother that we were going to be together. I guess my dreams have just been ruined, I mumble trying to comfort myself. I’ll meet another handsome man and fall in love with him. I’m only nineteen for god’s sake. Get a hold on yourself and shake it off."

I was never one to fall in love easy. That’s why I seldom dated in high school or college. And the few dates I went on, on no occasion did I feel anything when I had been kissed. The day I walked into Edward’s world, and his naked sexy body touched mine, I knew everything I needed to know about him, and I loved him from the first accidental touch."

    Chapter 1: Robin

I look around and all eyes are on me, except the blue eyes that matter the most and are important to me, but Edward’s eyes are facing his mother, and that witch Maggie. She’s staring at me as she wraps her arms around his neck, whispering in his ear, and forcing Edward to hug her. For a moment his hands are at his side but when he looks to his mother, she nods, her smile encouraging him. His hands then fall. I see his fist tighten. If he had something inside his fist he would have broken it.

Maggie brought the big guns out, Edward’s mother. When Maggie discovered that things weren’t going to go as she expected, she did what any woman would do to hold on to her man. She fought for him the best way she knew. I don’t blame her for that. All is fair in love and war I heard my mother say.

Maggie doesn’t let go of Edward and she’s nibbling on his ear, still whispering, and finally he gives in and holds her around the waist. She lets go of his ear and stands back with a plastered smile covering her face.

Now all I can do is stand there and wait for the shoe to drop or wait until someone says something. The air is thick with quiet, and Edward coughs, he knows he has to say something.

Mom this is Wayne’s Sister, Robin. Maggie is still holding his hand and Edward has an uncomfortable look. His eyes dart from his mother to me. I walk to his mother and hold out my hand, but she surprises me by giving me a hug.

She lets me go after a moment and I stand with a closed smile looking at Edward, I can’t call her mom, Edward.

Oh excuse me, Robin, My mother Anna Wentworth."

But of course you can call me mom. Wayne does. Anna looks to Wayne and he’s beaming. He sure has her in his pocket. My brother has hidden charms that I never noticed. Maggie on the other hand has a sour look on her face a blind man can see.

It’s nice to meet you, Anna says holding both of my hands and standing back to look at me, after I pull at my hair nervously. I’ve heard so much about you from Wayne and Alexis. Wayne is standing nearby and he raises his head feeling proud of himself.

He must have bragged that I’m in college and I was Valedictorian of my high school class in a private school in Seattle, and that I’ve been on the dean’s list every semester in college, and I play several instruments including the piano and the flute. It’s a pleasure to see an accomplished young woman, she says with a wide sincere smile.

Now I know where Alexis gets her honesty and genuineness. There was nothing false about Alexis’s love for Wayne. I guess that’s why
