Harriet Cammock

It doesn't matter how you start, it matters how you finish. This can be said of Harriet Cammock's life. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Harriet's journey is one marked by a strong faith in the belief that you can overcome, if you try hard enough.Through childhood, her grandmother instilled in her a drive to succeed. After an abusive marriage, Harriet determined she would use her own experiences in overcoming abuse to teach other women that there is help available. She channeled those experiences in writing and through her blog, The Grace Chronicles, she provides inspirational and uplifitng messages to many people.Harriet began The Faith Hour in 2009 and used this platform to launch The Renewed By Grace Conference which was designed to bring together men and women whose lives were touched by abuse. "I want to show women that you don't have to look like what you went through," Harriet said. Using creative resources and with involvement from other community organizations, Harriet plans to host another conference sometime in the next several months.A published author, she now hosts The Harriet Cammock Show. The Harriet Cammock Show uses principles of surviving and overcoming; principles that Harriet learned first-hand. Harriet has appeared on The Word Network and Atlanta Live! and is a guest writer for The Hinterland Gazette. A gifted speaker, Harriet is available for speaking engagements.

    About The Book

In this second printing of Visions, Harriet set about the task of providing interpretations to the dreams and revelations she had. In some scenes, language has been changed so the dreams are written as they were happening. Times and dates have been attached to some stories to provide the reader with a background on the events as they took place.

    In The Beginning

I began having dreams of supernatural revelations shortly after I was saved. Prior to that, I had had a passing acquaintance with what it means to be a Christian. For example, when I was a child, there was no choice but to go to church on a Sunday; no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It was simply what children did. Sunday mornings always found us getting ready for church and preparing for service. It was just the way things were.

Later in life, I left those early church experiences and pursued my own life course. Back then, if someone had asked me what faith I practiced, I would have said Christianity; it was my default answer. But I couldn’t answer the deeper questions of faith and Christianity as I had had no spiritual encounters in the supernatural. I had a passing familiarity with the Bible and could repeat the 23rd Psalm. Even though I knew of the life and work of Christ, I could not deliver an intellectual dissertation about him, and neither could I answer more than a
