IMPORTANT GRAMMAR

INFORMATION

First things first. There is something that YOU the reader should know about this book; some grammatical rules will be broken. Please allow me to draw your attention to the word Eye. When you see this, you should know that this is how I refer to myself.

Many have asked me why Eye use Eye instead of I, so Eye thought that we should take this time to clear it up to avoid confusion later on.

The letter/word I is used to refer to an individual (self) in the first person such as I am tall or I went to the store, etc. I is known as a personal pronoun; a word that takes the place of a personal noun. Before my awakening, Eye referred to myself as I because that is what Eye was taught. Eye never really knew my true self; Eye only knew the person who others said Eye was. After my awakening, Eye began to peel back my layers to discover a whole new person underneath the Christian facade. Eye no longer was that little girl who lived in fear of hellfire or the devil. Eye no longer was that woman who followed a doctrine that didn’t favor women. Pulling back those layers allowed me to meet ME, the real me; the person that my Mother and Father originally created me to be.

Eye began studying about the Pineal Gland, or what Eye refer to as the first eye and its powerful functions. Eye learned that my first eye was closed and not functioning properly. Christianity had done a thorough job of causing it to close during my forty-three years of indoctrination. Once Eye divorced Jesus, Eye decided to refer to myself as Eye (representing the all-seeing eye). My first eye or pineal gland could now do what it was created to do; function properly!

Be aware that using Eye in a sentence will occasionally cause grammatical rules to be broken in order to accommodate the chosen pronoun substitute.

Next, Eye would like to advise you that by the time you finish this book, there is a good chance that you too may start focusing on your first eye. Reading in this manner will train your mind to accept Eye as a pronoun (to personally refer to self,) causing you to think about that very important part of you that deserves your attention. For these reasons just stated, you will see Eye instead of I in ALL of my writings.

Lastly, you will find some titles such as Bible, God or Savior throughout this book, written in an attempt to obey grammatical rules. It is by no means an indication that this book is written to show respect to any organization, persons, group, entities, etc. These terms, along with Bible scriptures, are being utilized to help bring clarity to the information provided in this book. DEDICATION

Now this part is awkward. In my three books prior to my last non-Christian book, it was a standard practice for me to start the dedication page giving thanks to Jesus and his daddy God, but that won’t be happening this time. So, let me give my first dedication to MY One and Only, true living God and Creator… MY MAMA Beverly Grant, and my Co-Creator, the late John Reed who transitioned from this planet in 2012. Eye also would like to dedicate this book to my babies, Dareon, Chima, Demmetraus and Z’Ryah.

Eye dedicate this work to Dr. Yosef Alfredo Antonio Ben-Jochannan (Dr. Ben) who transitioned from this earth on March 19th, 2015. Dr. Ben, through his teachings, opened my eyes to who God really is in my life: MY MAMA! His teachings and influence will forever remain in my heart and the hearts of many.

There are quite a few teachers in the so-called black or conscious community that Eye had the honor to connect with on my radio show. Although there are many, Eye just want to acknowledge some who aided me in replacing old, false information with new, factual information. PREFACE

Eye often get this question, What happened that made you leave Christianity? Most ask because they can't believe that Eye was able to escape the clutches of Christianity; others will ask because they think that something bad has happened at church that turned me away from Christianity; yet, the majority usually asks because they are stunned that a so-called black woman would denounce the teachings of Christianity. Please allow me to address some of the main assumptions regarding my exodus.

First of all, Eye would like to go on record by saying that Eye still love and respect the Bishop and his wife, whom Eye served under for so many years; however, Eye don't love and respect the message that they continue to feed the people.

Eye didn’t turn away from the faith because of being angry with other Christians. The truth is that Eye saw every member of the Body of Christ as my family. Of course, we would argue and fight occasionally; but at the end of the day, Eye still loved them. We were like siblings, and siblings are known to quarrel with each other right?

Eye didn’t turn away because of sexual misconduct in the ministry. Eye was not molested or raped in the church, nor was Eye physically abused. Eye knew of other cases in the church such as the young girl who was violated by one of our elders. The elder was thrown out of the church, but returned three years later just to be reinstated to Head Elder; the Lord forgives rapists.

Eye was not forced to slave in the church; well, not as an adult anyway. Although Eye was operating under false pretense and empty promises, Eye still accept full responsibility for all of the time and energy Eye contributed to the ministry. Eye wasn’t forced to do anything; it was totally voluntary on my part because Eye loved the Lord. … And last but not least, Eye wasn't dogged out in

This is a well written book. I could not stop reading. I love books that keep my attention and this was one of them. I loved how the author made comparisons of her situation with a twist allowing its reader to view certain beliefs and practices in a unfamiliar way which allows for the reader to become aware of the bigger picture. This book is a testimony of the authors life when she was a chrisitan. She reveals the good and the bad of her experience leading into her breaking free of the beleif. This book gives insight to understand how deep some women can get into into the Chrisitan beleif and may be unpossible to pull them from the delusion if they are unable to be open minded and step out of the box and analysis and view the belief for what it really is.
