About this ebook

Faith is What? Describes the true meanning of the word faith.

Because faith is so vital to all our hopes, so necessary to the fulfillment of every aspiration of our hearts, we dare take nothing for granted concerning it. Anything that carries with it so much of weal or woe, which indeed decides our heaven or our hell, is too important to neglect. We simply must not allow ourselves to be uninformed or misinformed. This book teaches an overlooked but, important insight about what faith really is. I pray you will download this book, and learn the truth about faith. With that truth you will walk in victory with our Lord Jesus. Amen! Michael Dunhill

    ––––––––

I want to dedicate this book to my daughter and son in law, also, my Grandchildren.

    ––––––––

Introduction: The purpose of this book is to hopefully help God's people to understand faith, in order to gain a closer walk with Jesus. There is only one way to please God, which is through faith, Hebrews 11:6 without faith it is impossible to please God. In my younger years of becoming a believer, I didn't understand what faith was at all. I had heard Hebrews 11:6 and from there I started on my quest to find out what this word Faith meant. In this book I'll be sharing what the Spirit of the Lord taught me about this subject. I hope though reading this book it will give you the insight that is so needed to walk this believer’s path. Remember the Lord tells us in his Holy script, (The Bible), in,

Psalm 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord; and he delighted in his way.

My prayer is that we as believers will grow to become what God intended us to be. Please read this book with an open heart towards Jesus, and with open eyes and ears centered on His voice only, Thank you.

    THE HYPE

    ––––––––

I remember when I first became a believer. It was back in Nineteen Eighty-Five. Although when I was younger, I went to church, there was a pastor, Rev. White I’ll never forget him, he told me at the age of eight, that God does talk to His people, he placed his hand over my heart and said, You will hear right here, in your heart. Every since the day Rev. White told me that I’ve heard God, but I wasn’t saved. That happened in Eighty-Five.

When I gave my life to Jesus, I attended quite a few traditional churches. Now when the pastor would preach on the subject of faith, he would just say the word, but never give a meaning to it. I was quite perplexed by this word called faith. As years passed, I took the time to study about faith. The biggest mistake I made was to focus my attention on books that were written concerning faith; I also started to attend full gospel churches to find my answers.

This left me even more confused. It sounded like to me that faith was this magic wand that one waved towards God in order to move God’s hand in their life.

These pastors in what they called, The Free Movement would say about faith, Get Aggressive with Your Faith they’ll Say, "Learn to go boldly before the throne of God,  because we are His children we are entitled to have whatever we ask. Here’s the scripture they were referring to back this up, Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) it reads,

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Pastors were putting forth this message as if we should jump in God’s face and tell Him
