I’m starving! Shaggy moans as Mystery Inc. drives along a country road in Kansas, right in the heart of the United States.

Re, too! Scooby-Doo agrees with his best pal.

GRUUUMBLE! Scooby’s stomach agrees, too!

We’ll find a roadside farm stand or diner for you soon, Velma promises.

Ri want hot dogs! Scooby says.

I want barbeque! Shaggy declares.

Well, we’re in Kansas and the state is known for its BBQ ribs! Fred says and licks his lips as he drives the Mystery Machine.

I can find the nearest restaurant on my phone, Velma says. She checks her smartphone. "Hmmm. I’m not getting a signal."

"Don’t worry. I’ve made a few upgrades to our GPS system. I can find out where the nearest town is," Fred declares confidently. He presses a few buttons on the control panel.

All of the members of Mystery Inc. watch the GPS monitor display. Nothing happens.

Like, are we there yet? Shaggy wonders hopefully.

Well that can’t be right, Fred observes as he stares at the blank screen. The GPS is acting . . . strange.

Suddenly the engine of the Mystery Machine sputters and coasts to a stop. Fred tries to restart the vehicle. It makes a few sad sounds but won’t start.

Oh, no! Like, this is exactly what happened to the Mystery Machine in New Orleans just before our last adventure, Shaggy says.

Relax, Shaggy. We’re in the middle of Kansas. What could happen? Daphne reassures her friends.
