About this ebook

Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things one has to deal with in life. It is one of the most painful experience where we say good bye to people we love. Some get to say goodbye through the final burial of that individual, while others may not get such opportunity as they cannot find the remains of the loved one or do not know their whereabouts. Losing someone has such finality to it and sometimes it takes a while for us to come to terms with the reality.  Death is final call of everyone living on earth and at one point in time of our lives we will go through the motion of losing someone.

    Broken, so broken,

    Over a million pieces

    I see them everywhere

    It is so broken,

How can I go on with these broken pieces?

Who can help mend it back?

My heart cries out, my tears flood the street,

Who can help mend it back?

The dream is no more, the future is dim,

    The light is almost out,

    Then I saw it.

I saw it from a distance, just on the horizon,

    HE comes with the balm,

    HE comes with his healing

    HE has come to mend it back;

HE has come to give me back my dream.

I sit in the icy dark, nursing everyone's pain

    I look to find gain

    If any

    I find many

    But they are all zany

Crazy thoughts whirl the pool of my mind

    Life teaches too many lessons

    Our lives a cart

    The world an isle

    We push our trolleys

    In the vast supermarket

Yet fail to make any meaningful purchase

    We chase shadows

    Foreheads in furrows

    We ferret and burrow

    On time we borrow

    Reality is not real

We prefer the fantasies of our secret thoughts

    We grasp at the wind
