- The Show Begins -

Welcome to another exciting episode of-- The host bellowed, as the television cameras finally went live.

Ro-Sham-BIMBO!!! The crowd screamed in unison, finishing the show's famous opening line.

Madysinn rolled her eyes at the audience's exhilaration; she'd watched nearly every episode over the show's previous three seasons, and frankly, the reality was rather disappointing. The stage looked far larger on screen than in person, and the backstage green room had been a real bore too. Her walk-in closet at home was better furnished.

Of course, the geek seems impressed, she thought wryly, staring across her podium at the mousy brown haired girl opposite her. The senior coed was staring around at the flashing studio lights and packed seating surrounding them, all bright eyes and gasping with excitement.

She turned her gaze on the other contestant, and smirked. But not as impressed as the bimbo, she observed.

The overly buxom blond girl was the spitting image of the stereotypical beach bunny, from her tanned legs to her pouting lips and over-full chest.

Definitely the campus bike, Madysinn decided, as the girl blew kisses at the cheering crowd and shimmied behind her podium, sending her miniskirt flapping about, revealing even more of her tanned, long legs.

As the applause finally died back down, Don, the game show's perpetually smarmy host, spoke again.

Thanks for that enthusiastic welcoming, everyone! And very appropriate too, because today is very special indeed; it's our one-hundredth episode!! Don paused as the packed crowd erupted into cheers again, even louder this time.

And you all know what that means, don't you? He asked after the din calmed down again. He waited a half-beat, before continuing, That's right, we're finally ready for syndication!

He winked, and the audience laughed at his lame joke. Madysinn rolled her eyes again, and silently wished he would get on with it. The three contestants had been stuck standing on the stage for nearly an hour already, as the show staff moved props into position and the audience slowly took their seats above the stage. And all the while they were being cooked by the bright stage lights overhead.

But seriously folks, today is a very special episode, Don went on. And to help us celebrate this important milestone, we have three lovely sorority girls here, ready to compete in this special Sorority Showdown Edition of--

There was the briefest of hesitations before the studio crowd replied. Ro-Sham-BIMBO!!!

Don spun on his heels, and stepped onto the raised dais set up between the three brightly-colored podiums. Turning to face the three young women, he focused in on Madysinn.

And our first lovely contestant is Madysinn, a twenty year old coed from Beaverhole University and the President of the Epsilon Zeta Sorority!

Madysinn smiled at the introduction, gently brushing a lock of her natural red hair over one ear and turning to wave at the packed seats around them. Shouts and whistles rose from one corner of the seating, where her fellow sorority sisters sat, her own personal cheering section.

Why, thank you Don, she said as magnanimously as she could manage. I'm very happy to be here tonight, and on such an important episode too.

She batted her eyes, flashing her teeth. Don nodded delightedly, then winked. It certainly sounds like you have some supporters in the audience tonight, Madysinn.

Sure does, Don! She said, putting an extra bit of excitement into her voice as her sisters erupted in cheers again.

So, why don't you tell us about all yourself, Madysinn? I believe you're studying to be a Phlebotomist, is that right?

That's correct, Don, Madysinn said, all smiles. "But that's just a side major; I'm enrolled in a nursing program at BHU, and when I win here tonight, I'm planning to use the winnings to purse a full doctorate. My mother runs a major pharmaceutical company, and I want to follow in her footsteps someday."

Wonderful! It sounds like you've got it all thought out, then, the host said. He turned his attention to the mousy chestnut haired girl to her right. And moving on, our next lovely contestant this evening is also from Beaverhole University. Please, give it up for Rhea Lei, the President of Gamma Epsilon Kappa House!!

As with Madysinn's own introduction, a portion of the crowd cheered harder than the rest, where Rhea's fellow GEK's sat.

Madysinn noted with a smile that her own supporters were considerably more numerous, though that wasn't really a surprise; the EZ's had long been the most popular sorority on the BHU campus.

Now, I may be wrong, Don began, in a tone that suggested he wasn't. But I believe the GEK and EZ Sororities have a bit of an old-fashioned rivalry at Beaverhole University. I do hope that won't stop you two from working together during the game; after all, forming alliances is a vital part of Ro-Sham-Bimbo.

Rhea, for her part, managed to keep her smile looking half-way sincere, as she replied, "Oh, it's a very friendly rivalry, Don. I'm sure me and... Easy-as-Sinn can find some common ground to work with."

Madysinn glowered at the sound of her hated nickname, given to her by the many girls whose boyfriends she'd stolen over the years. After a moment she remembered herself and quickly pasted a phony smile back on her face.

Oh, you bitch, she seethed inwardly. I am so going to make you pay for that. No one gets away with calling me Easy-as-Sinn!!

Seemingly unaware of the little battle going on between the two, Don smiled and gestured at the GEK President's outfit. And I see you're full of school spirit this evening.

Madyinn felt a glimmer of pleasure as the half-Chinese girl's smile faltered momentarily, as all eyes fell upon Rhea's skimpy cheerleader uniform.

Typically contestants on the show got to choose their own wardrobes, usually something restrained and elegant that reflected their personal tastes.

But for this special Sorority Showdown Edition, the producers had insisted that the girls show their school spirit, decking all three contestants out in super skimpy cheerleader uniforms, more costumes than anything a real cheerleader would ever wear.

Suddenly self-conscious, Rhea cleared her throat. Uh, yeah, um...

On the wall at the back of the stage, far overhead, a large video screen suddenly popped to life, showing a close-up shot of the girl's outfit. One of the stage cameras slid forward for a close up.

Looking down at her own clothing, Madysinn could almost sympathize with her rival's discomfort. Their uniforms both had super tight spandex tops, though at least the geek's was actual clothing,
