About this ebook

Dear Reader,

I love living in Cedar Cove, but things haven't been the same since a man died at our B and B. Turns out his name was Max Russell, and Bob had known him briefly in Vietnam. We still don't have any idea why he came here and; most important of all – who killed him. Because it now appears that he was poisoned. I sure hope somebody figures it out soon!

Not that we're providing the only news in Cedar Cove these days. I heard that Jon Bowman and Maryellen Sherman are getting married. And Maryellen's mom, Grace, has more than her share of interested men! The question is: Which one is she going to choose? Olivia? – I guess it's Olivia Griffin now – is back from her honeymoon, and her mother, Charlotte (who's in her mid–seventies at least), seems to have a man in her life, too. I'm not sure Olivia's too pleased....

There's lots of other gossip I could tell you. Come by for a cup of tea and one of my blueberry muffins and we'll talk.

This is the fourth and by far my favorite thus far in the Cedar Cove Series. The story moved along nicely and there was more of a mystery element this time around, which appealed to my inner cozy fan. Thankfully the repetitive romance portion where a couple of the characters were not coming together for reasons of stubbornness or misunderstanding are behind us. I am back in the game wholeheartedly and am looking forward to continuing with the series.

44 Cranberry Point is mainly focused on Bob and Peg the owners of Thyme and Tide the B & B. They figure out who killed the stranger. It seems like all the married couples are having problems. It is a good book not real memorable though.

Book 4 continues from the previous books. Bob & Peggy Beldon found out who the stranger that died at their B&B he turned out to be Max Russell Bob's vietnam buddy. Jon Bowman and Maryellen Sherman are getting married. Maryellen's mother Grace goes all out to win Cliff Harding back. Cecilia and Ian Randall are going to have a baby again. Jack and Olivia returns from their Honeymoon and adjust to married life after living alone so long. Roy & Corrie McAfee are getting strange post cards. I can't wait to read the next book.

More of the Cedar Cove saga. This series is my audiobook guilty pleasure and has made my commutes much more pleasant :-) I am looking forward to seeing how the lives of the people in Cedar Cove change over time, and its always fun to feel like you are part of the town as the series progresses. Bring on book number five!

"44 Cranberry Point", the fourth book in Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series, focuses mainly on solving the mystery of the man who died while staying at Bob and Peggy Beldon's Bed and Breakfast. Cedar Cove in general is excited about a "dog and bachelor" auction fundraiser, but several of the residents also have other things on their mind. Jon Bowman and Maryellen Sherman are in love and have a child, but disagree about Jon's relationship with his parents. Grace Sherman is still dealing with the consequences of her on-line romance with Will Jefferson, and wondering if Cliff Harding will ever forgive her. Newly married Olivia and Jack Griffin are struggling to adapt to each other's lifestyles - she's a neat freak and he's a slob, plus she worries about his eating habits. And who is sending Roy McAfee those mysterious messages? Out of the four books I've read so far in Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series, I liked this one the best. I enjoyed the plot line about the man who died while staying at the B & B, although the identity of the murderer was pretty obvious. Macomber does a great job describing Bob Beldon's struggle with alcoholism, especially at one point when he almost gives in to his cravings. Other characters are equally well written especially Jon Bowman and his troubled relationship with his parents. Macomber introduces several new characters and sets up an interesting love triangle between hairdresser Rachel, single dad Bruce, and navy man Nate, who has a girlfriend back home. Finally, she ends the book with a cliffhanger, which makes me want to immediately pick up the next book in the series. "44 Cranberry Point" is a nice, cozy read.

A number of Debbie’s books are being released this year in e-book format and audio. I have read a few in the Cedar Cove series, so not reading them in order. These could be standalone books; however, it would be ideal to read in series order as you will find a number of the familiar characters mentioned in the books. Hallmark Channel will feature Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove Series which I plan on checking out.

In 44 Cranberry Point, Olivia, Grace, Jack, Cliff, Bob, Peggy and all the family and friends are back after 311 Pelican Court and the continuation of the murder investigation at the B&B. The book discloses the murder’s identify and more. Pretty predictable, and light reading of small town with colorful characters.

44 Cranberry Point is the fourth novel in the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber. Olivia and Grace and all our favourite locals in Cedar Cove make an appearance. Olivia returns from her honeymoon with Jack and tries to adjust to married life. Grace goes all out to win back Cliff Harding after having lost his trust. Maryellen and Jon tie the knot, and there’s another surprise wedding….. The mystery of the man who died at the Thyme and Tide B&B is finally solved, but another mystery, this time involving Roy and Corrie McAfee, develops. The Cedar Cove series continues to leave the reader feeling satisfied: another Macomber classic.

This is one of the books of the Cedar Cove series. I have read all by the newest. The characters are gripping and the books are really interesting to read. I love when a series continues so you don't have to learn all new characters!

This was pretty good, but a little confusing. Basically, it's a soap opera in novel form. And, like most soap operas, it can sometimes be hard to keep track of who everyone is and how they're related to each other. And I hate referring to guides or glossaries ... I'm not going to keep flipping back and forth to see who such-and-such is. So, I just wing it. I guess I didn't get confused *too* much. Not so much that I won't read the other books in the series. It was entertaining! Lord knows I don't get to watch soaps anymore, so it was a nice fix!

Series is getting more interesting as characters evolve and storylines change.

Olivia Lockhart, Grace Sherman and their family and friends are back in this fourth installment of the Cedar Cove series. 44 Cranberry Point picks up where 311 Pelican Court ended. Bob and Peggy Beldon find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation and are shocked when they learn the killer’s identity and the motive for the murder.Ms. Macomber continues the stories of the popular characters: Olivia and her mother, Charlotte, Grace and her daughters, Jack Griffin and Cliff Harding. New characters are introduced as well. If you’ve read the previous novels in the series, you will feel right at home with 44 Cranberry Point.I do like with each book, more is revealed about each character. It’s as though the reader is getting to know a new friend. At times the storyline is predictable, however it doesn’t diminish the reading enjoyment. If you are interested in reading this series, I suggest reading them in order as each book flows from one to the other.
