The Fat Adventures of Baron Meowhausen - The Second Course: A True Taste Of Tongue-Fu (The Impossible-ish Quests Continue)

About this ebook
To complete his Tongue-Fu training and unlock the full spectrum of his Grubmasterly powers, Meowhausen must undergo the sacred and gruelling Fat-Again Rite of Passage. Having learned from Masters Sillypuss, Nyam and Katoichi (see book one), in his second book, Meowhausen sets off on a culinary adventure to taste the world. Many different cultures coexist on Animus and Meowhausen must hone his prowess in the cooking arts before making the crucial selection of his all-time favourite food.
He soon discovers that Poozestan (not to mention the rest of Animus) is ‘rather large’ and that travel on foot is lengthy, exhausting and generally, inefficient. Enterprising as ever, Meowhausen rises to life’s challenge, creating a machine, which allows him to sample the cuisines of the world in, quite literally, a timely manner.
Overly eager to chew fat with Destiny, Meowhausen winds up marooned in the past, trapped by his own amnesia. With only a fraction of his mind present, our hero gets up to some decidedly antiheroic antics, embracing a pirate’s life and rampaging across the seas. But, as his mind clears and the brainfreeze slowly melts away, Meowhausen reclaims his memories until he finds himself surrounded by belligerent scoundrels, whom he himself had so painstakingly hired.

Born behind the ‘Iron Curtain’ USSR and having lived in Africa, Eastern and Western Europe, Ken has observed and learned from a rich bouquet of unique cultures.Ken has close to twenty years’ experience working as a business and travel wordsmith (writer and editor) under his belt. Alas! Fact-recounting, however droll, is an unworthy substitute for the high adventure of creative writing. Ever since the creation of Animus in 2009-2010, Ken has enjoyed writing about the heroic exploits of chivalrous personages such as Tigerius and Meowhausen, as well as weaving stories about comical and melodramatic characters.Ken’s other interests include martial arts, chess, poetry, composition of song lyrics, calligraphy, Japanese language and Japanese culture of the Samurai era.
