My name is John Modica. Something that most people do not know about is me is that storytelling runs deep in my veins. My passion for storytelling was discovered by an unexpected source - my grandma. She was my biggest fan. After showing her the home movies I edited and transferred to DVD, my grandma encouraged me to go to film school to develop my storytelling and editing skills. While my grandma is no longer with us, I now have a sense of pride in my work by not hiding it away. To this day, her encouragement continues to fuel my desire to improve my work. Every story I develop is a challenge. I am not afraid of a challenge. Each challenge pushes my abilities further.

A shadowy figure walks down a dark empty hallway. Footsteps echo behind the person. The figure stops outside a thick oak door. The number twelve is engraved into a small metal sign. A hand, shrouded in darkness, pushes on the silver plate on the right side of the door. The door swings open with ease. A creaking sound fills the hallway. Entering the darkened room, the figure approaches a person sleeping on a bed. Beeps fill the room. The sounds emanate from a machine monitoring the person's heart rate. The sheets gently move up and down with every breath the person takes.
The shadowy figure reaches down into a pocket and pulls out a syringe. Moving one step closer to the bed, the shadowy figure removes the cap from the syringe. The figure reaches out and presses a yellow button next to the bed. A fluorescent light springs to life a few feet above the sleeping person's head. The light removes the shadowy veil from the figure to reveal a woman in her late forties wearing an off-white nurses uniform. The light reveals Jeff Aurora, an Italian American male in his mid thirties with black hair, sleeping in the bed. The nurse takes the syringe and gently plunges it into Jeff's flesh. A pale brown liquid slowly enters his neck.
Joe Freedom sits in a room directly above where Jeff is sleeping. Joe stands a little over five feet tall with dark blonde
