I believe the Lord has a message for the Church today, a message of encouragement and inspiration as we serve Him in these last days.
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
– Isaiah 40:31

Foreword
Wait! Before you skip these first few pages and dive straight into this book (as I myself have done on occasion), let me share with you a little about the author and the reasons why she has committed the time and energy to writing this fine book.
I met Ruth ten years ago. She was sitting right behind me at church and as I turned around to greet her that first Sunday morning, I was immediately impressed with her kind and gentle disposition; she appeared so content and at peace. I knew right then that I wanted to know more about her.
Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to meet with Ruth often and to hear her heart. The first thing I came to understand is that she loves the Lord Jesus with everything in her. When she speaks about Him, you know that He is her personal Saviour and Lord, but more than that; He is Ruth’s best friend. The second thing I learned is that she has a wonderful gift; one I am grateful she is willing to share with us.
It all began when Ruth slipped some of her writings into my bible one Sunday. Following the service, I made my way back to my office, opened the envelope and read what she had written. Wow! What an amazing ability Ruth has to write, and to rhyme. But more importantly, I was impressed with the content. It wasn’t all fluff or pleasant sentiments, but her writing was bold, biblical and prophetic. What I mean is, the Word of God is what inspires Ruth and this is obvious through all her writing. The words she expresses have a way of building your faith and helping you envision what God has in store for you.
I encourage you to read this book in its entirety, but read it slowly. Savor every page as if you were enjoying fine dining. Break it down over several courses and take time with each bite to reflect and understand what God may be saying to you at the time. Trust me, there is something written here just for you. Be inspired!

Introduction
This book is a collection of writings given to me over a period of several years that provide encouragement, guidance, and prophetic insights for the time in which we live. I believe that God speaks to each one of us in very unique and special ways.
I ask the reader to pray and align these writings with God’s Word, and to draw his or her own conclusions as to their origin.
The Christian life is not an easy life, and as Christians we face many obstacles in our path. Each chapter is broken into subtitled sections which identity the issues or needs they address.
It is my prayer that this book will serve as a source of strength and hope to anyone who reads it.
Chapter OneFaith
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
– Hebrews 11:1
Trusting God
Faith is the very essence of your being, for it is by grace you were saved—through faith and without faith it is impossible to please Me.
My Word is full of promises, and I am a God who does not break promises.
Remember that My Word is true and I will do all that I have said.
I will never let you down, and all who hope in Me will never be disappointed.
Walk in confidence, assured that I am with you; live like the sons and daughters of a King.
For you are My children. I love you and want only good things for you.
You are the head and not the tail. You are joint heirs with Me to all of My riches in glory.
Continue to trust Me, for I will bless you in abundance.
Do not look at your circumstances, but keep your eyes
