Barker has been publishing erotica on the web since 2003 under the pseudonym Thinking Horndog and has a following on several sites of readers delighted and entertained by the quality of his works. "I tend not to write pure stroke, but rather put my characters -- who are NOT perfect people or Barbie dolls -- in real situations and wrap a real story around the sex scenes. I'm known for my humor, which is a little twisted..."

    Author's Foreword

This book contains adult content – and it crosses various boundaries even for that. If you are too young to be reading depictions of sexual activity or have limited tolerance for such content, including activities that are, well, not ‘vanilla,’ let us say, perhaps you should look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you consider yourself to be open-minded, well, let’s see... There is nothing here that hasn’t been done before, after all...

As I have indicated before, my characters are what they are, and they speak for themselves, not for me. Don't assume that because one of them presents an attitude that you find offensive, or whatever, that I'm providing you with MY opinions – look around and you'll see another character with a differing viewpoint.

    Enjoy!

    Chapter 1

    Frank:

Emma left us when Jeff was thirteen. Well, okay, she died. She didn't have a choice -- the drunk that crossed the double-yellow line didn't give her any. She was sober because I wasn't and we'd been out to a party -- but that didn't help her duck him. He plowed into the driver's side of our truck and things went in weird directions. I got out with a couple of broken bones, but Emma was dead -- she died in my arms.

I'd seen death, back in the last war we got into and couldn't get out of, but it had been a while, and it was hard on me -- and worse on Jeff. But we stumbled along until Jeff was seventeen, at which point, suddenly, Cynthia was coming around. Love heals a variety of wounds, and Cynthia healed Jeff's -- and if they insisted on fucking like mad rabbits in Jeff's room, that just meant that I needed to go out for the evening and get a beer or something. I wasn't in any mood to be doing something regarding feminine companionship; Emma had been 'the one' and I'm an acquired taste, although it appears from the reactions of females around me that I may have improved with age. I just wasn't ready to have the jaws of death snatch another woman from me. And then there is the fact that I don't have the world's safest job -- I tend to walk the iron in high places in my work as a construction foreman and engineer.

Anyway, Cynthia took to coming around and doing shit and I overlooked the bedroom calisthenics because having a woman in the house was good for me as well as Jeff. I started to think about being human again after a bit, but didn't do anything much about it.

Cynthia wasn't hard to look at -- she was dirty blonde, had nice titties and was curvy. Some people would call her fat and some would say she was stocky -- I just think she had some upholstery. She wasn't beautiful, but she wasn't ugly -- she was a little fangy about the teeth, which you saw when she smiled, but I had always thought that to be cute. She was just tall enough to be able to stick her face into Jeff's shoulder when in flats or flip-flops and she looked good in shorts or a skirt -- nice calves. All in all she looked athletic at that age -- and she was. They made a cute couple. I admit to sitting around the kitchen a lot when she came around and offered to cook, because she would bend a bit to ask me questions and I'd get a good look at those fine titties and remember that I was a man -- but she was Jeff's woman and I never came on to her. Hell, she was seventeen, eighteen at the time and I was twice that.

Cynthia and Jeff got married right out of high school -- and I think the reason was Lisa, although I never asked -- Cynthia seemed to come home from the honeymoon pregnant. I got Jeff on at the firm I worked for as a laborer and he went to school afternoons and evenings to get his engineering degree -- and they did all right, I guess, for quite a while. He'd joined the National Guard for college money, and I was proud of him for it. I'd done my time and I knew that while I'd seen some ugly things, it had matured me -- and the time he went off for training matured him, too. Cynthia wasn't thrilled, but she handled it; Jeff asked me to keep an eye on things for him and I made it my business to wander over there for a couple of minutes once or twice a week. Over that summer, it got to be dinner three or four times a week by the end, and I didn't say anything, but when Jeff got back and I had no business going over there, I missed it for a while -- I missed the company and the food was good.

They rented for a while and then I lent Jeff some money so he could buy a house and build up a little equity, after Lisa was born -- sort of a birthday present for the girl, not that she would ever realize it. Cynthia got pregnant again with Katie and then a third time with Emma. Jeff complained some to me and I told him he was fucking himself away from the table and he needed to get either himself or Cynthia fixed -- and they did and I didn't ask how, but Cynthia stopped popping out little girls on a twenty-one month schedule. The kids were as cute as Hell, though, and I had fun being Paw Paw when I went over to visit. Mostly, though, I did what I was supposed to do -- I stayed the Hell out of their lives and let them do what they wanted to do. Jeff was doing all right in school and was damned close to graduating with his engineering degree, which was going to put him up the ladder at the firm as soon as he got it. Things were cruising right along...

...Then Jeff's Guard unit got deployed overseas.

Jeff came to me with the news, alone -- and it was soon clear why.

"Dad, I can't pay the mortgage and feed a wife and three little girls on military pay -- and I don't have a lot of time to fix things. I need help. The house, well, I think we ought to put
