“Angels over the Rainbow” This is a stage play made into a very touching story, dedicated to Elizabeth Jones, Born April 16th, 1988. Elizabeth went to heaven on November 2010. A victim of Cystic Fibrosis. Elizabeth is a wonderful soul and she is a hero of mine because she always went forward and never gave up. Earth misses her very much. Dian, Elizabeth's mother, has her tucked away in her Heart while she shares her with God, the angels, and heaven. "Angels over the Rainbow" is about three children that was struck by a drunken woman and put into coma’s. The children’s souls are caught between staying on earth or going over the rainbow. They meet the drunken woman while they are in between deciding which way to go, she begs the children for forgiveness.

Description of characters

Cindy:  age:  14 – 17  dressed in her school clothes.

She is very worried for her boyfriend Tony, who has been in a very serious accident.

She is sitting in the waiting room hoping to hear news from the doctor.

Ron:  age:  40 – 50  Very upset and worried his daughter Nancy is in serious condition.

Dressed casual, he is confused as to what happened.

Nancy:  age:  14 – 17  Nancy is an accident victim, she is in the high school band, and she is wearing her band outfit. Nancy’s spirit has left her body, and she does not know it,

she is in a coma. Nancy is Ron’s daughter; she is also the granddaughter of the old woman.

Old Lady: age:  60s plus, Grandmother dressed as such, and is constantly praying for her granddaughter, she is very worried for her.

Mr. Benson: age: 30 – 40 He is dressed business casual, he has on a nice suit. Mr. Benson is very worried about his two boys, who are accident victims, Tony and Johnnie.

Tony:  14 – 17  Tony is on the track team in school, still in uniform. Tony is an accident victim, his spirit has left his body, and he does not know. Tony concerned for his father.

Johnnie:  age:  6 – 9  Johnnie is dressed like a little boy, Jeans, T-shirt, sneakers. Johnnie is very spunky and friendly. He is also an accident victim. Johnnie’s spirit has left his body, and he does not know it.

Mikhail:  age: 14 – 17  Mikhail is an angel, he is dressed in a white sparkling, flowing, gown, with glorious wings. Mikhail, has an old, classic, angel’s trumpet. (French - horn) hanging down his side. He is very considerate, nice, and friendly, the big brother type. He is Tony’s guardian angel.

Lilly: Played by, Jessica Howell (Zeus and Roxanne) age 14 – 17  an angel dressed in a beautiful, white gown, with glorious, sparkling wings. Lilly, is Nancy’s guardian angel. She is a very kind, and, considerate, angel.

Jacob:  Age 6 – 9  Jacob is an angel, he is dressed in a white, flowing, gown, with little, sparkling, glorious wings, he is Johnnie’s guardian angel. Jacob is friendly, kind, spunky, and, mischievous.

Marissa: age: 30 – 50   Marissa has already gone over the rainbow. Marissa is the drunk driver that has put the children in very serious condition. She is very remorseful, and sorrowful, sad, lonely, confused, upset, and feels very guilty. Marissa is very concerned about the accident victims.

Sid: age: 30 – 50  Sid is dressed casual, Sid is Marissa’s husband, and he is very sad, and, upset. Sid still loves his wife, very much.
