    This group of friends, back for Valentine's Day, is still trying to figure out life and love. One of them receives letters from a former love, one of them tries to re-ignite an old flame, one proposes marriage and one of them sees an old acquaintance in a new light.

    When the Lee receives old letters from Rhona, things become very confusing. After everything he's gone through, these letters are totally unexpected. But he isn't the only one who gets thrown for a loop. Each one of them has to confront something they aren't ready to handle.

    Lee jumped out at the sight of the girl. As she walked away from her front door toward him, other people appeared. An old woman, a younger woman and a younger man. Their smiles and waves were so inviting, he thought about opening the car door again, shutting off the engine and redirecting the girl back inside.

    The girl--Ioni. He looked at her, five or so steps from him. His heart rate jumped up suddenly. Even given how long they'd been seeing each other, he still felt nervous, excited energy when he looked at her. He smiled.

    Lee, she said, with a huge smile.

    Lee sighed.

    I love this girl.

    Her face was rosy from the cold and her big hair was on top of her head like a crown. Her eyes sparkled with the same look that shined in his, and she rose onto her tip-toes and pecked him on the lips. Warmth ran down his body.

    Are you sure you won't come inside first? You know the folks are half-crazy from not seeing you.

    Lee considered. Her family loved him and treated him like their own. He wanted to go inside. He had already thought about doing that, and it sounded really good. Then he thought about what he had in the car and what he had to tell his girlfriend. He couldn't begin to do any of that with her family around. Something was telling
