Standing in the tunnel the darkness surrounded me. I turned around to look at the light gleaming behind me from the entry. The light was comforting.  I knew I had to go into the dark. With a shiver I began sloshing through the 2 inches of water, away from the light.  I could barely feel the wetness as my brain was about to go crazy. My mind was rambling, so full of adrenaline.  I wished that I had eaten more carrots so I could see better in the darkness.

I have to focus; I have to put one foot ahead of the other and move as quietly as possible. I could just make out the slight shadows of light that danced on the sides of the tunnel.
