Introduction

In case you haven't noticed, we live in very difficult times. Some say we are living in a depression, others say we are living in a recession. I believe that we are living in the midst of a revolution, a socio-economic revolution and many of us are in deep doody.

The Eternal Problem

Do you wish you were rich? If you are like most people, than you probably do wish that you were born rich rather than pretty or handsome.

Now, if there were a way that I could show you how to get rich over a period of time (the time depending on where you are now and where you want to go), would you be interested if I could show you how this can be accomplished?

If I showed you how you can make over $2000, even if you are out of work at this time, would you be interested? Could you use the extra money?

No, I am not talking about playing the lottery, either.

I am talking about whatever little money you make right now!

If your answer to the above questions is also Yes, then read on.

Times Have Changed

It used to be that if you had a job people would tell you: Put your ear to the grind stone and you will get rich! This was known as the Puritan Work Ethic. Well, I never believed this then and I still do not believe it, especially now, when our economy is changing drastically. It is my belief (and it has always been) that you don't get rich from working hard. But you do get rich from working smart. In fact the difference between middle class people and rich people is that middle class people work for their money, whereas rich people got rich because they made their money work for them.

So keep these two principles in mind:

1. You don't get rich from working hard, but from working smart.

2. Middle class people work for their money. Rich people make their money work for them.

Lesson No 1

There are basically two ways of accumulating money on your own:

1. You can work for the money and earn it or

2. You can save money from what you already have.

The second method (saving money) is easuer for now.

Defining What We Mean by Rich

If we want to talk about getting rich, we first have to define what we mean by getting rich. And frankly there is no answer that everybody who reads this book would agree on. The truth
