    When Katie wakes up on the morning of her seventh birthday there is a feathery bundle at the bottom of her bed. A young girl just like her but with red curly hair and wings that glow pink when she comes excited. A special friend, invisible to everyone but Katie. Sent as her Guardian Angel.But Angel Allie is only seven too and does not follow all of the Guardian Angel rules, getting into trouble as she works to earn her Silver Halo. Becoming Katie’s protector against bullies and danger, trying to find her way in the human world, a little girl but not a little girl, at times lonely for her other life. Each night at bed-time the fun begins as Allie wraps her wings around Katie and they fly to the stars’ giving her word to Katie as she promises “even though you may forget me as you grow up, I will never forget you.”
