About this ebook
A retrograde sun brings an ominous warning, opening a series of prophesies Howard Hill is at the center of. The red spiraling sun brings warning of an alien invasion that could enslave the entire world of Concentratia. It is up to Howard Hill to prepare the Concentratian Outcasts to defeat the Fifty-Year Alliance and save Concentratia. However, releasing the Outcasts into mainstream society, even to save the home he loves, could mean banishment for Howard Hill.

Chapter 1
Concentratia's red sun spiraled in random intervals in the bright blue sky. It was a rare event that prophesy foretold would bring great evil upon the planet. An evil that, unless drastic measures were taken, would last a minimum of five decades.
Howard Hill gazed up at the sun's movements with his piercing blue eyes. His brown hair was starting to turn gray.
Howard loved his home planet and would do anything to protect it. The only thing he loved more was his family.
The Prophesy of the Falling Sun,
he muttered as raindrops began to pelt him on the head in their attempt to water the lush green grass.
Howard rolled up his royal blue garden hose and hung it in its place on the side of his pristine white, three-story, mansion with marble columns and statues that had been in the Hill family for generations. A row of green bushes blocked the areas of cement that had been used for the basement, and foundation, from view.
At one time, Howard had wanted to paint various sizes and colors of hand prints along the bottom half of the exterior walls, but the community bylaws forbade such an endeavor. He tried everything to get the bylaws changed, but was unsuccessful.
The only two successes Howard had in his life were his family and his career.
Howard entered the front door of his mansion as his wife descended the marble staircase to the first floor hallway. She was a beautiful woman with flowing brown hair, wearing a luxurious blue gown. Her brown eyes glimmered in the artificial candle light that had been used to light the house from the time it was built. Howard loved how the light reflected off her eyes.
Neither of them were surprised by their prearranged marriage instituted by their parents. Lillian Varn had everything Howard loved out of life. Beauty and brains. Above all of that, he loved her compassion. She was never short on feelings for others. In many ways, she was how he saw himself from within.
Good morning, dear.
Lillian's voice had the sweetest tone. It reminded Howard of songbirds singing as dawn was breaking.
No so good, I fear.
Howard gazed at Lillian's beautiful smile. The sun is spiraling. I must warn Commander Vex before it is too late.
Commander Vex was the leader of Concentratia's military organization, the Vexars, which also acted as Concentratia's government.
Wouldn't he tell you not to put such superstition into prophesy?
Concern lines began to wrinkle Lillian's attractive face.
Howard tried to meet her concern with a smile. Yes, but being the head of the committee for prophesy fulfillment, as well as the head of the genetics department, it is my duty to warn him and be ready to act in the best interest of our planet.
Lillian smiled at the way Howard worded his decision. She knew that he would do everything in his power to protect the things he loved, no matter the cost to him personally. That was what she loved most
