About this ebook
Linda Becker
Sometimes where you end up isn't where you started out to go. I was born in Tillamook Oregon in 1947, and as a native of Oregon I received my frrst and only art class in the Oceanside grade school in 1961. In the early 70s I began drawing various pictures in pencil, mainly of animals and only a few of people. Everything I drew turned out to be animated and I didn't think that I was any good at drawing. By 1984 I once again started to draw, this time with colored pencils. The subjects were carousel animals and dragons. Some of my previous works of the 70s were given a poem to match the pictures which were destined to be a children’s book. In 2000 I responded to an add in the Tillamook County shopper for cartoons and began Realtetoons; proving that you cannot believe everything you read. I am sure you all have read real estate ads where this beautiful picture is conjured up in your mind; so you make the appointment to view the home only to find that it is far from what you had pictured. As a Broker I began to see the levity in the real estate ads, where what you read isn't necessarily what you get. I am sure you will enjoy and relate to my cartoons and maybe next time you read an ad you will chuckle.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I received a copy of this book in a giveaway on GoodReads. And this is my honest opinion for the book.In “Where There Is Love,” Linda Becker takes her readers into the lives of three different women who each desire the simple pleasure of finding someone they can love for the rest of their lives. I believe Ms. Becker in making each of her female characters; Hannah, Helen and Julie real, made it possible to totally relate to at least one of them.Just as in our lives, each character travels down a different path with real life-changing decisions having to be made along the way, including that of a heart-breaking decision to reject a marriage proposal where the mind won over the heart. While some reviewers need to write about editing issues, I tend to read a book for the story it tells and how it is being told, which is what the vast majority of readers do. Instead of jumping from one story to another and back again, I’d like to have seen each of the different storylines made into three separate short stories, each with their own title; making for a better reading experience. With all things considered, I’m giving this book 4 STARS.Robin Leigh Morgan is the author of a MG/YA Paranormal Romance novel entitled “I Kissed a Ghost” as well as the author of “Micro Fiction – An Anthology.”
