A tiny, stringy-haired Jewish slave girl had overheard her master praying for healing. In the midst of the cleaning and the scrubbing of the house, she had also heard his moans during the day and the night. Naaman, her master, was not like the other masters, so she decided to take a chance and tell him where he could find health, healing, and the righteousness to make him whole.
Naaman made the 800-mile journey to Israel’s prophet who, when he got there, would not even come to the door and acknowledge this great and powerful general arriving with his entourage of chariots and horses.
