Types of possession

Forget the pea soup and rotating heads from the movies and the myth that possession is always from the demonic. In fact, possession can be caused by various beings and can occur on many levels both physical and mental. Methods and reasons that entities can enter the body include trauma, prolonged depression, drugs, occult rituals, invoking spirits and chronic depression from loss or bereavement.

Entity types that may try to possess a person or another living creature such as a dog are demons, ghosts, spirits, thought forms, astral projectors, hitchers (spirits that attach themselves to living creatures) and other entity types.

Mental possession often involves thoughts being induced to try to convince that the thought is that of the persons. If thoughts enter your head and they are not your own then ask yourself where they are from. Every body’s internal dialogue should be in control of each person but
