For The Love of Lilith & How to Put Love into Practice (and Non-attach Yourself to It), Quick Guides to Ancient Wisdom, No 1, Parts I & II
By Paul C Burr
()
About this ebook
Part 1 describes the journey, shared by two people, to embrace the love of Lilith (or Lilithian Love) - that pure androgenous spirit of love, light and wise connection to all that is - along with the sensibility and freedom to apply that wisdom.
Part II contains exercises to put love into practice - and - project (and non-attach yourself from) what your heart truly desires that you do not have.

I’m in the business of equipping people to improve their effectiveness by 30%+ in a matter of weeks, sometimes days.Business Client: “I have worked with Paul periodically over the past 8 years to gain solutions to a number of people issues / opportunities. If you are looking for a Personal Coach to make a High Performer / High performing Team even better (particularly a senior player) – I would not hesitate to recommend him”.Sandra Ventre, Management Development Director, Reckitt Benckiser (now with Qantas)Private Client: “You have been so instrumental in the positive changes in my life, I set quite a few goals, and one by one my goals are being achieved, thanks to you, showing me how”.Debbie (via Skype) Cape Town, South Africa. The Skills and Passions in MeLife doesn’t get better by chance; it gets better by change. And change is a journey that’s two parts, emotional, to one part, intellectual. Most of us don’t achieve what we set out to achieve at the first attempt. If the outcomes you sought were down to a purely intellectual exercise then you would have achieved them already - would you not? Whether you’re a top or moderate performer (or underperforming right now) - every change you make in life is a journey, two parts emotional to one part intellectual. We are twice as likely to hold ourselves back because of self-imposed emotional blocks as opposed to intellectual problems. Put simply, I equip people to tackle challenging emotional journeys.Corporate clients use me as a ‘business coach’, personal clients probably see me as more of an ‘energy healer’. In both cases I help clients to release the emotional blocks so that they cultivate and apply their innate willpower, imagination, courage and creativity to achieve the business and personal outcomes they seek.I’ve over thirty five years of ‘b2b’ corporate sales and management experience, fifteen years of which overlap with my business and personal coaching work. I’ve a PhD in Statistics and a First Class Honours Degree in Mathematics. I’m qualified as a Master Practitioner in: NLP, this/past life regression and hypnotherapy.I write books, blogs and have just started a series of business articles based upon my own original research, experience and observations in corporate and SME business.I study and practice ancient wisdom, astrology, casting runes, dowsing, the I Ching and the Tarot.I love listening to music – rock, jazz, country... you name it. I sing a bit too.I’m a passionate football fan of Newcastle United Football Club, in “Geordieland”, in The North-East of England.

For The Love of Lilith
Quick Guides to Ancient Wisdom Series, No 1
Preface
You could read this volume in an hour. DON’T!
Pick it up and read ‘slices’ from it, say no more than a few minutes at a time. Read, reflect and re-read a slice at a time.
I don’t ask you to believe a word written. Instead, answer the following questions to yourself...
1. Does what I read make sense?
2. If it were true, how does it apply to me?
3. If its wisdom were true, what might/would I do differently?
4. What would be the consequences of acting upon this wisdom?
5. How would the world around me differ if everyone I encounter started to apply the same wisdom in their own fashion?
6. Would I and the world around me become more conscious of the answer to the questions...
a. What purpose am I here to fulfil?
b. How can I achieve this purpose?
The booklet is written in a spiral format. You can start anywhere and read it sequentially or dip in and out as your intuition tells you. If you come to a specific section that doesn’t apply to you, skip to the next section. Come back - if, as and when, you find that section does apply to you.
By the word, ‘you’, I mean you, me, we, us, anyone.

Purpose
The purpose of life is to find, open, express and become your true nature, a ‘being of light’. The word, ‘human’, translated from Hebrew means ‘light being’. Anything that is not light, the dark or the ‘shadow’, is not you. Anything borne of not-light is not you or at least it certainly isn’t the real you, or where you’re headed eventually, or from whence you came.
By ‘light’, I mean truth, wisdom, oneness and supreme love.
One must take the path of wisdom eventually - because all the others lead to it.
From the Foreword by Henry Miller, The Wisdom of The Heart, to The Mind of the Druid, by E Graham Howe, Sompong Press Ltd., Thailand.
The journey to love, taken step by spiri(tu)al step, proceeds towards the reunification with that from where you came.
We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started... and know the place for the first time.
T. S. Eliot
Humans attract one another for recreation, companionship, business, sharing wisdom, and ultimately love. This book describes the purpose and nature of how two people to come together to journey to (supreme) love, the love of Lilith, Lilithian Love.

Love, Duality and the Mystique to the Game of Life
Romance: Nat King Cole sings, When I fall in love, it will be forever
.
Heartache: Ray Charles sings, I can’t stop loving you!
I didn’t realise that you could fall in love more than once in your life until I was 38 years old. I have been naive about love all my life. I have written much about love and the more I write about love; the more I practise love; the more I realise how naive I still am. When you fall in love it can be overwhelming. You might imagine it will (or at least you want it to) last forever. Your feelings are so intense, you intend it to last forever. Yet it rarely does. And after the heartache, most of us, most of the time, seek to love and be loved again.
By and large, you/I/we fall in love and later, fall out of love. Like the ebb and flow of tides of the seas, the coming and going of summer, as day turns to night and back to day again: we fall in and out of love. We fall out of love because we fell into it in this realm of duality.
The ‘Wet and Dry’ of Duality
In this earthly dimension, you only know something by knowing what ‘not that something’ is. You know what wet is because you know what not-wet, dry, is.
1. Continuous discernment: something is considered large because you compare it with things that are relatively small; something is brighter or darker, lighter or heavier.
2. Discontinuous discernment: a switch is on or off, someone is male or female (granted, there are exceptions), you know the shape of a building because the air around it is not that building.
So what category of duality does love fall under?
1. Continuous - are there degrees of love?
2. Discontinuous - do you either love someone or not?
The Power of Love
I’ve never been able to ‘control’ the emotion of love. I’m a stereotype Leo; I wear my heart on my sleeve. Love consumes me. It’s the be-all and end-all when it comes into my life. I allow its power to take over. I delight and excel in its glorious ecstasy. I agonise and hurt deeply when it leaves, even when I am the one instigating its departure from a relationship.
I love me when I love others. I hurt and feel shame when I hurt others. That’s me. Not everyone is the same.
I try not to allay blame on the other person after a breakup. In this I succeed - most of the time. If I do blame anyone, I blame myself - not good either!
One thing we all share though is: when two people create a loving relationship, either one has the power to destroy it - most of the time. We are given the power to create and destroy but that power is not boundless - most of the time.
Create and Destroy
We can destroy all that we encounter in this earthly realm that was created in it. We create and destroy life,
