Her apartment was a single room studio not bigger than an average hotel suite. The pantry was at the short hallway towards bed-cum-living room. A wardrobe lined the other side of the hallway which led to the bathroom. The unit was on a high floor, and I could see the night skyline of PJ through the window next to the bed. I plonked onto the bed, and lay there waiting.
