About this ebook
A true and shocking ghost story about one of England’s most famous queens, Anne Boleyn. Witnessed on numerous occasions throughout the centuries at her historic home, Hever Castle, and the Tower of London, where she was executed, as well as many less familiar places you wouldn't necessarily expect to find her, Anne Boleyn’s Ghost is considered to be one of the most frequently seen ghosts in the United Kingdom.
One day in 2009, a family visited Hever Castle on the five hundredth anniversary of King Henry the Eighth's accession to the throne. An outing full of twists and turns, their day at the castle had a few surprises in store for them. As they walked through the castle's ancient rooms, one of the family members – a budding photographer – unknowingly captured the ghost that has mystified so many individuals since her dramatic, and rather gruesome, end. It is Anne Boleyn like you have never seen her before. Her Ghost no longer dwells in the shadows but has appeared in her full glory in front of one, unsuspecting photographer's lens. Almost five hundred years after she was executed at the Tower of London, Anne Boleyn appears not a day older than the day she lost her head.
This is the story of that family's eventful day at Anne Boleyn's historic home, Hever Castle, and the mysterious photographs they took...

Reviews for Anne Boleyn's Ghost

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Aside from being an Anne Boleyn enthusiast to the point I wrote my thesis about her, I love historical fiction, especially with a supernatural twist. This was absolute rubbish. I had (semi) high hopes for it, but based on the cover picture it looked self-published so, you get what you get.
Poorly written doesn't even begin to cover it. I admire the author for writing and publishing, I know that has to be thrilling. I wanted to love it, but I couldn't get past the fact it read like it was written by a thirteen year old; excessive and incorrectly placed adjectives (like the person literally just looked in a thesis and said "that one!" without regard to sentence flow or context), unnecessary descriptors, rambling sentences, and stories that dragged on way too long (how does what you ate at a bread and breakfast relate to the story at all? completely unnecessary).
There really was no mention of any ghost story until the last few pages, and they were all the things that appear on Anne's Wikipedia page. More time was spent telling Anne's story (one I know well and will absorb regardless) and it was extremely lackluster and left me feeling a little irritated.
The author also REALLY stretched when describing the "ghost". First of all, the sentences were so jumbled that I had to re-read maybe three times just to get a grasp of what was being said. Second, the pictures of the "ghost"? Laughable! I had to have been fooled right? It had to be a joke, because the pictures were blurry and out of focus and anyone with eyes can see that the pictures were taken either as a camera moved or blurred itself. I have at least 5 pictures on my phone looking like those with no need to cry "GHOST"
All in all, serious waste of a credit. Save it for something worthwhile.
