Every Moment Is Eternal - Jon Schreiber

    PREFACE

You don’t need to be improved, because your True nature can’t be improved upon. Just let the truth polish you, so you can shine.

Nothing here is meant to impress your mind or feelings. This book talks to our essential nature, because truth already exists there. The more our essence is nurtured, the greater the chance that cracks may appear in our conditioned attitude toward life. Through these cracks, we may see things we haven’t seen before, and nourish our essential desire for Self-understanding.

The teaching of the Breema Center isn’t about believing in the philosophy of unity. It’s about doing what we need to do to actually see things in unity. You may discover an inner resonance with what you read in this book. I hope that it will lead you to the desire to find out: Is that really so? Can I actually experience that? What do I need to make that my own experience and my own definite understanding?

It is difficult to communicate what Breema is in words. No matter how insightful, they indicate only an aspect of the teaching, never the whole teaching. But this simple statement comes close—Breema is the way of Self-understanding. Self-understanding means Being-understanding, which requires self-verification and self-initiation into the truth. And although this way is endless, every step yields its own reward and increases our possibility to manifest in harmony with our True nature and in unity with all life.

    INVITATION

In our essential Being, we exist. There, worry is absent. Instead, there is acceptance of what is. There, there is no desire. There is no need. There is only Awareness of Existence. It is undefinable. It can’t be measured, but it is unquestionably present.

If you need to let go of something in order to find this, see that what you want to let go of isn’t there to begin with. When you are yourself, you are this. You can’t find it in words or descriptions, in some place, or in any thought, feeling, or sensation. There is an emptiness in you, overflowing with awareness of the fullness, because it is all-inclusive. It is free from time, space, shape, form, color, texture, mind, feelings, and sensation. It is free from desire, free from becoming, even free from being. Beyond everything, it just is. The presence of this is-ness gives reality to everything that exists. It is eternally present. It is never here, never there. It is where here and there are not a question. It is neither real nor unreal. It is where the question of real and unreal does not arise. It is not you, and not God. It is where the question of you and God does not appear. It is the basic truth of everything that exists, but it does not mix with anything. It is simply aware of all. This awareness of all is awareness of yourself, because there is one inclusive moment. It is beyond science, beyond religion. It is love itself, without loving something, because it has room in itself for everything, and it sees nothing but itself. Love sees love, and the universe is created. It is beyond cause, beyond manifestation, beyond the unmanifested. It is not part of yes or no. It’s not part of the present, the
