First Time Camping: Exploring Her Options, is a sweet romance suitable for the young or young at heart, was released May 31, 2014. Forthcoming June 30, 2014, is the second book in the series, “First Time Enterprises: Minding Her Own Business.“ It can be enjoyed by itself or as a continuation of the first book.

The prequil introduces Candice––a successful career woman who has lost confidence in herself after being dumped after only six months of marriage. Threatened with losing all she’s worked for, she no long trusts her own opinion. Going online, she contacts Mr. Wonderful at “Get-a-Man’s Opinion” for help before leaving on a camping trip and job interview.

The fact she had applied to Michigan Tech Affiliates through Headhunters the week before––that they had already asked her to come for an interview––was a stroke of luck.

Her attorney called it a fortuitous happenstance. "Go to Northern Michigan for a vacation and inquire about the job," he told her sympathetically.

"I'll write a few letters and see if we can obtain justice without having to sue your company."

The timing was perfect. It would also prevent Candice from making any more calls to Get a Man's Opinion. Her resolve was tested the very next day when Mr. Wonderful called to tell her about Wunda Products––their parent company––how its smartglasses and the design of them was less conspicuous than others on the market.

"Our smartglass has become #1 among designers, not only because of the high fashion look, but for the benefit offered by dark glass that automatically adjusts to any prescription and light condition without revealing the eyes of the wearer."

"Cool. But I'm not ready for them. Perhaps later.”

"Now, is the time! After you called last night, I put your name in our weekly drawing. Yours was drawn to be part of our test group. Wunda Glass retails for $1200. But you'll get yours at half-price, also a free year of Get A Man's Opinion and Catch A Cheat.”

"Thanks anyway," she managed to say, "but I don't need smartglasses, a man's opinion, or to find out that my husband's unfaithful. You're a month too late.”

Mr. Wonderful's call opened wounds. The hurt started ripping through her all over again. With adrenalin surging she raced back to her mansion and grabbed her eye popping cocktail dress and the 4th of July Firecracker––the bikini she'd never have the nerve to wear in Boston––but far away from home camping on Lake Superior––who knew?
