About this ebook

Deciding to move in together with Kerri was easy, but surviving a lay off during a competitive economy has proven much more difficult for Tyler, and as a result they are now struggling to pay their rent. Tyler swallows his pride and asks his landlord, David, for leniency. To Tyler’s surprise, David agrees to give them time to work out their financial issues. But when Tyler finds evidence that someone was listening to him and Kerri having sex, he questions David’s motives for granting them an extension. Is he letting them live rent free in exchange for listening to them making love? And, worse, can Tyler live with that arrangement?

I love telling stories. Growing up reading Faulker I loved the idea of every character having a story to tell. And that's what I want to do, tell all the sexy stories that my characters want told.

    Prologue

Tyler didn't know anyone was listening to them. At least not at first. He still believed in the illusion that four walls and a ceiling gave them privacy. Eventually he’ll learn that is not always the case, but at that moment all he cared about was pleasure. And Kerri knew exactly how to give it to him.

She could tell he was close. His thrusts were focused and efficient. He was clearly in the last phase of his typical three stage sexual assault. Kissing and foreplay (using the term very loosely) were complete; all that was left was stage three: missionary consistency. She slides her hands down his body, grabbing hold of his barely-there ass, and pulling him deeper inside. Tyler collapses on top of her, supporting himself on his forearms.

You feel so good, he blurts out awkwardly between gasps into her neck.

Kerri loved giving him pleasure, even if hers has been lacking lately. It wasn’t necessarily bad, but it used to be more exciting, more intense. They lost some of the spark. But the power she feels when she makes him come, while not the same as a real orgasm, still feels amazing. She's in complete control.

Sensing he was close, she knew how to send him over the edge. She presses her moist lips to Tyler's ear and moans breathlessly as she squeezes her body tighter around every thrust. Tyler slams his palm against the wall to brace himself. Kerri's moans grow louder as she feels Tyler thrust deep and hold, filling the condom and releasing at least some of the tension from a horrible week.

Sorry, I couldn't hold back anymore.

Of course you couldn't. I know what I’m doing. That's okay, baby, you felt incredible, Kerri said as Tyler slumped down on the dry side of the mattress.

After his hands and feet stop tingling, Tyler gets up to replenish his fluids. On the kitchen floor, slid under the door from the laundry room, was an envelope. And despite everything Kerri just did for him, Tyler's tension returned. He didn't need to open the letter to know they were past due on their rent. It's hard to avoid your landlord when they live in the suite above you and share the common laundry room adjacent to your unit. He hides the envelope in between some junk mail and returns to bed. He takes Kerri into his arms. For one more night he'll pretend that everything is fine.

    Part 1

Tyler anxiously tears at an empty sugar packet, replaying that morning’s fight over in his mind. This was by far the worst fight of the week. I should have never hid that letter.

The coffee shop was relatively empty. Not many patrons lingering around mid-morning on a work day, just a blogger taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi and an elderly couple lost in conversation. Tyler fixates on the couple. They were so happy together. The wife laughs at a story her husband’s probably told her a dozen times, but she still reacts like it’s the first she’s heard it. He can see how much they love each other. That is what he always wanted for him and Kerri. What happened to them?
