MY HAPPY SPOT!

I was raised the oldest of eight children, a poor country boy in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The sleepy town of Morganton, Georgia is about 100 miles northeast of Atlanta amid mountains and lakes. Some people call it God’s Country. Most of my adult life has been centered around real estate as an investor, builder and developer. This publication is designed to tell the story of the birth and demise of The Global Information Network (or GIN, as it will be referred to throughout most of this book) as told from my experiences. I consider myself an expert at very few things, namely real estate, hunting and the rural lifestyle. As you'll see within these pages, I'm not an expert on multi-level-marketing or 'pyramid schemes', so to speak. Although I was exposed to Amway many years hence, I wholeheartedly embraced the idea of a worldwide networking opportunity. As with many business concerns, building a network of knowledgeable individuals is a necessity. Occasionally, such personal relationships turn out to be more than business related, and strong friendships are developed as a result. Even though the GIN Club may have been torn asunder, it's these relationships that I will carry forward and be the beneficiary of into the foreseeable future.

KARMA

One of the things our GIN Club was founded on was the maxim of 'Members helping other Members, first'. I took this to heart and tried to help as many members as possible, both at club sponsored events and on the GIN Community Forum.

My HAPPY SPOT was being able to assist with positive energy and the results thereof, aligning closely with the Biblical text that states We reap what we sow. It's my firm belief that when you're linked with God, you receive the true karma of peace and harmony.

I had the highest 'karma' score (1,386) on
