It happens with more and more frequency. A hunter posts pictures and/or a blurb about a successful hunt on a popular social media platform. Immediately the haters pile on, doing their best to shame, harass, and sometimes threaten them in what in any other circumstance would be considered an act that would get those with different views suspended or banned from the platform. They scream about killing Bambi, screech about gun control, challenge the hunter’s manhood or sexual proclivities. The tsunami grows as more haters pile on until the feeding frenzy subsides.
This is just one of many reasons you cannot find me on any social media platform. Years ago I had to open a Twitter account for business that required my tweeting pictures and words about my hunts.
