Skyler is a 16 year old, newly graduated homeschooler. He is excited to be preparing to start college in the next few months. The Marlo and Joe stories are based on actual events. I have taken the stories told by members of my family, who shall remain nameless, and brought these stories to life. I have used considerable creative license to protect the innocent, and the not so innocent, in these stories. The names have been changed, events modified and accompanied by completely made up events or combinations of the many stories. I have taken these steps to prevent anyone from getting in trouble again for events that may have happened decades ago. While, I’m sure that the parents of my relatives and their friends didn’t think these events were humorous at the time, often too filled with worry and concern, I have spent many a family get together laughing with my brother and cousins until we cried listening to our grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles tell these stories. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

I dedicate this book to my mom for all of her help, and everyone who has helped me
