Well then, let me ‘splain it to you Lucy’. Hanna says laughing at her own Ricky Ricardo imitation. Cori, it’s bad enough that I have to be in the closet because the older generation can’t deal with ‘those queers,’ as they call them, and I have to hear political crap about the good old Roosevelt days. But the Alzheimer’s ones are going to kill me off, and that’s really not an option. Let me repeat that, killing me off is not an option. You understand? I mean, oh my God, I was almost blinded today.

Hanna, Alzheimer’s is not like parvo in puppies, you can’t catch the ‘crazy’ from the old people you care for.

Well then karma is kicking me in the butt then…big time.

Okay Hanna, I’m all comfy on the couch, I have a snack and a drink. It sounds like this is going to be a long one. Now, tell me what happened today. Cori loves talking, texting, and e-mailing her ‘bestie’ everyday. Mainly because the problems her best friend tells, are usually hysterically funny. Cori’s not sure if it’s the way Hanna tells her stories, or if it’s the actual situations Hanna gets in. But whatever the case, Cori knows that she doesn’t have the knowledge or patience to care for Alzheimer’s victims like Hanna does. Hanna just has a special knack for it. Cori figures its because Hanna came from a large family, she was the oldest of six, and spent her formative years taking care of her little brothers. In fact, Hanna’s mother made her take one of her little brothers on her dates; no doubt her mother felt that the little monsters
