“The ‘Love’ Factor: Four Short Stories about Love,” by Priscilla B. is a combination of four different types of love stories. The first one, “Roberta’s Recorder” revolves around a woman who has lost the man of her dreams in a murder, and Mr. Rogers, a professional recorder for the police who unfortunately has been assigned to record the very distraught and dramatic Roberta’s account of who her lover was. “The Hunt” takes the reader on a journey of ‘hunting’ when with the help of his friend Bernie, Larry decides to steel his ex-girlfriends boyfriends new car to show him out it feels to loose something special. “Togetherness,” presents an interesting conflict between the symbolic presences of two beds and couples sleeping habits. “The Optometrist that Did not See,” focuses on how love can sometimes blind us both literally and figuratively.
