Phir wahi saawan ki boondeiN
Ranj-o-malaal-o-hijr ki zindagi zinddagi nahiN

Mujh ko dhoka hai dosti ne diya
Ghazal ko dukhte dil ki ik haseeN saughaat
Mere mehboob
Haaye yeh kaisi pardadaari hai
Na aaye woh dard-e-jigar bhi na dekha
Mere sawaal pe woh bezubaan rehte haiN

door mere khwaaboN ki manzil
Shaam hotay hi shamaa jaisa bujha jaata hai dil
Samjhay thay un aankhoN meiN
Bekhudi tak aaj pilaaye koi
In mast sharaabi aankhoN se
GulshanoN ka rang-o-boo ka kya karooN
dil kisi ki aankh ka nishaana ho ke reh gaya
Mera Bharat KahaaN
AnkheN haiN khushk ashq magar kam nahiN rahe
Baat kya thi aaj adoo ehbaab sab be-rashq thay
Chal paDay haiN hum safar ko hamsafar koi nahiN
Hum ne aaj teri aankhoN meiN apna khwaab
Ab tabiyat har khushi se jaise anjaani si hai
Kal bhi boondeiN barsi theeN
Na gham nikla na dum nikla
Woh agar muskuraa diye hotay
Ik zaraa si baat thi kitne hi afsaane huwe
Raat un se thi nazareN miliN ek pal
GhamoN ka gher
Meri baat laboN ki laboN pe rahi
Is raah-e-zindagi par na thak ke palaTnaa hai
tishnagi kabhi kabhi maikashi kabhi kabhi
KaanTay milay haiN phool bhi
Meri wafaa ka aap ne anjaam likh diya
Sukoon-e-dil ka har ik simt ab Tthikaana hai
Naghma na lab pe koi na dil meiN qaraar hai
Baat hai koi jo koi baat ab bhaati nahiN
Koray kaagaz par kuchh ashqoN ke nishaaN
Ghazal hum jo apni sunaane lage haiN
Kayee dinoN se tujhe door door paata hooN
Yeh kis baat ki barhami si rahi
Yeh dard-e-jigar bhi bahut kaam aaya
Aise looTay gaye nazaaroN se
Kya un ki shokhioN meiN sharaarat nahiN rahi
dil bhi chupchaap sa jalaa jaise
Gham hi haiN saath aaj kal shaayad
Abhi na jaao, na jaao ke raat baaki hai
YuN badal ke reh gayaa aalam yahaaN
Kabhi khaa kar ke dil pe choaT
Zulf bikhraa ke aaye meri laash par
Sard sard aahoN meiN jhempti nigaahoN meiN
Na hai naghmagi meiN woh sur hi ab
Ubhray haiN jazbaat likhooN main kin lafhzoN meiN
Jaan bhi hai armaan bhi hai
Qatray qatray ko tarsaa hai
Chali hai ik nayee daur-e-hawaa ab

Someone has well said ---"It is not just WHAT you say, but HOW you say it, that makes all the difference."
GHAZAL is a form of poetry which is more or less a conversation, or lamentation from the depth of one’s heart, sometimes with the beloved….sometimes with one’s own fate….or at times with God itself. It is an expression of one’s innermost feelings or imaginations strung together -- as two-line self contained couplets – in the shortest possible and highly pleasing arrangement or assembling of words.
Mohabbat ki Baatein or- Love Whispers – as the title suggests, is a collection of some of my Ghazals & Poetry, mainly on the theme of LOVE.
Why Love? – many ask. And the reply is equally simple. a)
