Chapter 1

This is all your fault! Monica whined. She was putting on a pair of jeans while they still fit.

You weren’t complaining before, Kevin said with a chuckle.

I wasn’t two months pregnant with twins before. Why I ever let you get started on making babies before the wedding is beyond me. You just had to seduced me! Monica exclaimed.

Monica was two months pregnant with twins and her wedding to Kevin wasn’t set until almost a year from their engagement date. They had just gotten engaged only three short months ago and now they were getting married in two weeks.

Baby I didn’t seduce you. You just can’t keep your hands off me is the problem, Kevin teased.

Kevin thought Monica’s panic moments were cute and entertaining. He never took her all that serious at times when she was losing it.

Its more the other way around Kevin. You can’t keep your hands or any other body part of yours to yourself. Thanks to you I have only two weeks to get this wedding together. I will not walk down the aisle fat! Monica exclaimed.

Kevin was full on laughing at Monica as she paced back and forth in their bedroom.

Fat, skinny, or in between I still love you and would marry you no matter how you look, Kevin assured her.

How sweet impregnator! Monica yelled.

Baby your using that word in the wrong context.

I don’t care I have a wedding to plan!

Monica grabbed her purse and walked out of the bedroom. She wasn’t upset she was just under stress. She thought she had months to plan their wedding and months to work on getting pregnant. But now everything was happening at the same time. She had even gotten a new job on a morning talk show as a co- host. She wasn’t starting her new job until after the wedding but still she had a lot going on.

Moni wait up. Kevin said walking down the stairs to meet her at the front door before she left.

Oh no you don’t Mr. Johnston. Using your little endearing nickname put this whole thing in motion, Monica said.

Come on you need to just lighten up. I told you if this is too much we could just elope or something. Then just have a real wedding after the twins are born, Kevin reasoned.

Kevin got down the last stair and walked up to Monica.

I refuse to have some drive thru wedding then a real one later. We’re doing this the right way the first time. So just gear up to be stressed out along side me husband to be, Monica said.

Fine by me wife to be, Kevin said.

Kevin had a complying grin on his face. He moved his hands to Monica’s waist and walked her backwards until her back hit the front door. Monica looked at Kevin suspiciously as he leaned down to kiss her.

Kevin kissed her slowly moving his hands down to her hands taking them in his. Monica dropped her purse and keys to the ground as Kevin pinned her hands above her head.

Their kiss went from slow and short to intense and passionate. They moved their tongues together and Monica let out a soft moan. Kevin very pleased with himself pulled away breaking off their kiss. Which made Monica look at him confused.

You have things to do today I wouldn’t want to make you late. Kevin said trying to act as if he was being responsible. He picked up Monica’s things and handed them to her.

Like I said before, you can’t keep your body parts to yourself and you always seduce me, Monica said.

She had been ready to go on her errands for the day getting things ready for the wedding and what not but now Kevin had her all hot and bothered.

I love you too baby. Kevin said giving her a peck before going back upstairs.

I love you. Take care of my baby today, Monica said.

He just turned three and he’s going to be a big brother. He’s no longer a baby, Kevin clarified.

To me he will always be my baby so take good care of him, Monica said before walking out the front door.

Monica was meeting her maid of honor Julia at the potential wedding venue. She wanted a simple but memorable wedding. Monica was going to look at the Oheka Castle as her potential wedding destination. It was a beautiful Castle where they could have the wedding ceremony and reception.

This place is gorgeous. You must have your wedding here, Julia said.

Guess the venue is a check, Monica said.

Great now all we need is catering, wardrobe, honeymoon location, and entertainment, Julia said going through her checklist.

Julia was taking her maid of honor duties seriously. With Julia’s help Monica did have a little relief.

So how is your hottie husband to be and cute little man? Julia asked.

They’re both doing great, Monica said.

How are your growing little babies? Julia asked.

They’re fine, Monica said.

I still can’t believe you’re going to have double trouble.

This is what Kevin wanted.

I’m so happy for you guys.

Thanks.

Monica put the down payment on the venue so that she got the date reserved. Now that she had the where she needed the who. She needed to write out a full guess list so that she could see who was able to show up and who wasn’t.

Monica and Julia went out to lunch to form the guest list. Julia wasn’t only the maid of honor she was also the wedding planner. Free of change, which Monica appreciated.

So we’re inviting all of Kevin’s basketball buddies, you and all the girls are invited, both Kevin and I’s parents, and then any other friends he has that I’ve yet to meet but that he’d want to invite, Monica said.

Ok so there’s the guest list. We need to think honeymoon destination. Where do you and Kevin want to go, Julia said.

Kevin and I may have to put that on hold. I start my new job soon and it might just be better to think about a honeymoon once things settle down, Monica said.

You’re pregnant with twins. If you don’t go on this honeymoon now you may not go on it until the kids are in college, Julia said.

Just put the honeymoon planning on hold for now until I talk to Kevin. Since we’ve gotten everything except for the wardrobe and catering done I think we’re doing good at planning this thing ourselves, Monica said.

Yeah everything is going good. So where do you want to dress shop and what food do you think you’d like? Julia asked.

Kevin is in charge of the guys clothing and all of the girls are getting Vera Wang dresses. Also I need to talk to Kevin about the food choices, Monica said.

Ok so we have everything ready to go. This is going to be a piece of cake, Julia said.

Cake. That is something I need to pick out with Kevin. Thanks for reminding me, Monica said.

Wait we also need to figure out the entertainment, Julia said.

Another thing I need to do with Kevin, Monica said making a mental note.

Monica was glad that she and Julia were able to tackle so much already as far as the planning was concerned. But she knew she still had a few things to workout. She also knew she had a few things she needed Kevin’s input on before she finalized everything. The big day wasn’t far away so she knew she needed to get a move on.

Chapter 2

Monica had been able to get the final details for the wedding set up that she needed Kevin’s input on. Everything was set up and ready to go and now all that was left was to wait until the big day.

Since their wedding was all together it was time for their bachelor and bachelorette parties. Kevin’s guy friends were planning his and Monica’s friends were playing hers.

Our bachelor and bachelorette parties are tonight and your parents will be taking care of KJ, right? Monica asked Kevin.

Monica and Kevin’s parents were already in town for the wedding. Kevin was paying for them to stay in a nice hotel where they wouldn’t be bothered.

Yes. My parents wanted to spend time with us tomorrow after the parties tonight, Kevin said taking a seat next to Monica.

They were both just relaxing in the living room.

Why? Monica asked.

Because they haven’t seen you in a while and they want to catch up, Kevin answered.

Ok that’s fine just give me the time and place.

We’re going together so why do you need to know the place?

Kevin tomorrow I have to go to the studio to meet my new co-host. I told you that, days ago. I have to go in for a quick meeting and then I’ll be able to just meet up with you and your parents.

I thought you started your work stuff after the wedding.

I am. This meeting is just a meeting to get the details settled. There is no real work involved yet.

Alright. I’ll tell my parents about your meeting so they can decided on a time.

That works. So about this bachelor party, there will be no strippers right.

Baby I told the guys not to have any strippers. But you know this rule goes for you too right.

Babe. I hate male strippers they are gross and the whole experience is just awkward.

You know I could be your very own personal stripper. Kevin teased.

Ha-Ha very funny but you don’t strip that tends to be my job in the bedroom.

Of course its your job you do it so well. Kevin said kissing Monica on the cheek.

Yeah well you’ll be having to wait a while for that kind of show again Kev.

I’ll be counting down the days.

Monica and Kevin spent the day just spending time together with their son at home. When it became time for their bachelor and bachelorette parties they got dressed and got KJ ready to go with his grandparents. He was staying the night in the hotel with Kevin’s parents so Monica packed up the things that he would need.

Are you excited to see your grandparents? Monica asked KJ.

Mommy I don’t know them, KJ said.

KJ knew Monica’s parents more than he knew Kevin’s parents. But since Kevin told his parents about KJ they have tried to get to know him as much as they could in such a short period of time.

Sweetheart you will get to know them. You also know that at anytime you can call mommy ok, Monica said.

KJ nodded and took his father’s hand.

Bye baby I’ll see you tonight, Kevin said to Monica. He was dropping KJ off with his parents before he went to his bachelor party.
