About this ebook
When we consider the animals of the earth, and we look at their natural camouflage, we can, with common sense, associate their coloring, and characteristics with the natural habitat from which they come. The tabby cat's stripes blend in with the bark on a tree, where he customarily dwells. The Doberman pinscher has dots over his eyes, so that when his enemies see him sleeping in the dark, they think his eyes are open- even when his eyes are closed; the baby fawn has white spots on it's brown back, so that it will blend into the snowy landscape of the early spring. And, the sandy headed, green eyed woman is colored thusly I am now convinced, to blend in with the monstrous green eyed devils and lapping flames of the pits of hell.

Six weeks after my break up with Cat, I was completely over it.
We'd had 3 great years, together. Then one kind of rocky year. And then- one that just plain sucked.
However, I believe in commitment and I know what the word means. My parents were married just short of 50 years. Separated only by death. Each of my 3 siblings are long married, with no signs of wavering. And, with all of the conviction bred into me, fortified with all of the love that I had in my heart for her, when Cat and I decided to commit to each other- I promised to love her and be with her forever. I meant to keep that promise. I was giving our relationship everything that I had to give. But, we were a bit tired of each other and though she pretended that everything was OK, Cat secretly had other ideas.
One night while she was out of town on business, Cat called me on the telephone at our home and told me that she wanted me to move out. Her words knocked the breath out of me. I knew things hadn't been great- but I didn't think things were quite that bad. I really hadn't expected it.
Cat had chosen a pretty tough time to tell me that
