About this ebook
William Harke has a day job, a standard 9 to 5. William has become robotic in his daily life with routine being the only thing he lives by. Through no fault of his own, although it would seem at the start of this story, William is thrown by surprise when on a normal day of work he is attacked by a cowboy followed by a clown and a teapot. This short encounter leaves him in hospital where he meets Melinda. Unknown to William at this time Melinda is also in hospital due to an attack that ended with a teapot but without this knowledge the pair takes it upon themselves to have a first date. While most first dates involve drinks, food and awkward silences, theirs consists of an interruption in the form of Theodore, or Teddy as he becomes known. From this point the story sends the three individuals across time and into a conspiracy that not even William knew he was a part of.
The first task of the three is to find out why William’s ex-employers shut down their offices on the day that William was attacked. In order for them to gather the information they need they must meet William. Not the William they have with them though, the William from 4 years previous. Teddy is a scientist and his latest invention, his ‘Tittie’, aids them on their journey. After a failed attempt to gain the information required from the William previous, they go directly to the source of the mystery surrounding them, the offices of William’s ex-employer. From here the three discover clues that lead them on to something much bigger, but who is leaving them clues through time?
As the three get separated, one chasing one clue while another chases another, they find that their lives are somewhat linked together. As one character disappears to here and then, they reappear to there and now. It is not until Teddy gets kidnapped that things start to get really strange though. Eventually when they are hired by a company that has its sights set on world domination, we think, it seems that their fate is a short one. As with most people, William, Melinda and Teddy feel that a more prolonged existence is a much nicer prospect and realise that they must come together to take down the largest world conquest plan to date. Who owns this company? What is their big plan? Who are The Disciples? And who is making the next cup of tea?
