Bitch he muttered as he put his phone away and with that Phoebe was out of his mind. Carlton Yee had work to do.

Last week Stevie Big Boy Chow and a bunch of his friends had been shot. Someone had walked into Fortune Noodle House down on Broadway at 2:37 AM and sprayed the place with bullets. Four wounded, seven dead, including Stevie and three of his key people. Not bad for five minutes work. Carlton wondered how much they’d paid the trigger man.
