Mehndi is a form of art which depicts festivals or celebrations, where creativity and design blended together makes anyone feel jealous of the whole mehndi design. It is applied to both sides of the hands up to the elbow and sometimes reaching the biceps muscles and on the front portion of the legs. Traditionally, mehndi was worn during wedding ceremonies for the bride and her close relatives. Now, because it is so aesthetically pleasing, people have started wearing it on various occasions, even for parties.
