Domestic MACHINE QUILTING with Anita Ellis The humble straight line

“But I can only do straight-line quilting …”

I hear this all the time. There should not be an ‘only’ in this sentence. If you can quilt a straight line, there is so much you can do. The variety of quilting designs using a straight line is endless, limited only by your imagination. I have written this month’s article to help feed that imagination and allow you to take that humble straight line to new levels.

First, let us consider how we create straight-line quilting.
