    Ted Stetson is a member of SFWA. He was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island and went to Seton Hall and Hofstra. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas. He was awarded First Place by the Florida Literary Arts Council and First Place in the Lucy B. McIntire contest of the Poetry Society of Georgia.       Okay, you want to hear about it? I'll tell you, but you can't interrupt. You can't. I can't go through it, but one more time, you hear?

      I'd just tried to turn on the kiln to warm it up so I could fire some coffee mugs though I don't know why. I mean, here it was Friday and next Monday I needed five thousand dollars to pay the mortgage or the bank would repo the house. I tried looking for work, but no one'll hire a person my age, and I never really thought the bank would kick me out even though everyone said Mr. Hobbs was mean enough to evict Mary and Joseph.
