Many Trails and Tales -Volume #3
()
About this ebook
This is volume #3 of this series in the same type of format that was used in Volume #1 and Volume#2. Each one has had different themes and subsections in order to make the reading easy, less time consuming than a regular length book and have a variety of subjects, too. Each volume has 3 separate theme sections with 4 subsections. It adds to the variety of reading interests that may be entertaining but not involved in long unnecessary detail. There are other books and materials a reader can find if extensive details are what the reader may want when time and circumstances allow. In any case this volume introduces only short segments to gives one a complete article or story within itself. It can be fun and entertaining to investigate some new subject areas that one may not have thought of before or may have forgotten. This format can stir up some ideas that would be helpful in various circumstances as one may need ideas for a different project.
The beginning section is geared toward writing skills and training oneself to be a better writer whether it is for personal improvement skills or if one would like to be able to build a work from home business based on their own interests and products.
Section two has to do with self improvement skills and family life. Two or the more important skills for self-improvement are working on memory skills and conversation skills. There are suggestions on how to improve one’s memory regardless of the age and realizing that it is easy to forget things unless one continues to practice the skills. Even young children forget things that they should have remembered or did not give proper attention to it at the time. It gives some information about why and how we can be forgetful and it is not necessarily meaning that it is due to getting older. It would be fun to recall. There are stories and memories that friends and others might like to share.
Other segments of this section have to-do with ideas about retirement and what that means to each person, how to make it more enjoyable and productive. While the next segment discusses the needs facing family life and the ever changing needs within families even when the children get to be young adults and it is hard to let go.
The last section is about memorabilia. Not only is it intended to stir up some interests in having recall of things that may have been forgotten but would be fun to recall. There are stories and memories that contain cartoons during WWll. They had become so popular that they showed up in the most unlikely places all over the world. This section tells what these cartoons were and how they had originated. See if you remember some of these, wondering where and how they became so popular. They still have a strong influence our lives today whether we are of the younger or of the older generation.

Originally I had begun writing various materials and projects for a public school system when I was employed as an education specialist. Later I changed careers and worked as a National Park Ranger in a number of parks in the western United States. As a park ranger along with the regularly assigned duties I also did historical research and wrote materials for their official website. Due to the fact that I had these various experiences I met so many people, listened to all kinds of stories, personal experience and encounters I decided I wanted to write stories and articles in my own way without the limiting restrictions of some organization. My latest project has been to write short articles and stories that can be read quickly and easily giving readers some ideas of topics they might like to pursue on their own.I still get letters and stories from people I had met Some of these have been published. People had gotten quite excited about having their stories included in a permanent collection. For this reason I still am asking people to write to me,tell me things that have been of interest to them or what some of their own experiences have been. It has been so much fun to hear from elderly indiviuals particularly because they have lived through times that we did not know or had any experience of it.As time goes on I hope to continue collecting and writing about subject areas that are different from the usual more common topics in hope that my readers will enjoy a new approach.
