Purpose of Wealth - J. Maxim Fields
T.R.A.P.S.
Introduction
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven;
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to gain, and a time to lose.i
This is a new time. This is a new beginning. It has touched every hand and eye in the nation. It is the center of attention for the economic world. It is the symbol of wealth for this generation. I pondered the words of this ancient inscription. I searched out its meaning. But no one could help me understand what is the significance of these words, Annuit Coeptis.
Like an ancient manuscript left behind by lost civilizations, its meaning locked away for all time, the words challenged all of my understanding. Then again, more was revealed, "Novus Ordo Seclorum. This time the meaning was not as obscure. We all understood the reference -
New Order of Generation, (race or age)." Yet it lacked significance without a proper translation of the first phrase.
I searched from library to library, campus to campus. I searched for the proper translation. More importantly, I was searching for the secrets it would reveal about the system of wealth we find in place today. These words are found on every U.S. one-dollar bill. The dollar has become the single most prevailing currency in the world today. It is the symbol of earth’s prosperity.
We find the words In God We Trust
etched on the face of our currency. On the back we read, "Annuit Coeptis. This is translated,
He gives his nod of approval." This is like a faithful servant who enters the presence of a great monarch and waits for the nod of approval to approach the throne of authority. All of these words are found on The Great Seal of the United States of America. The Great Seal is on the back of every U.S. one-dollar bill.
There are two sides of the seal, like a coin, front and back. These words are found on the front of the seal. They represent the financial power of the New World. The reverse side of the seal contains the symbol of the eagle with stars and stripes. This represents the political power of this new generation. America was not founded primarily for purposes of religious liberty but rather for financial liberty as well. In the Old World one had to be a member of royalty, nobility or the elite merchant class to increase and maintain wealth and power.
In this new age, there would be liberty so that anyone who understood the system for the accumulation of resources would prosper regardless of heritage, beliefs, creed or race. The specific reason for this prosperity is so that individuals, and their families, could fulfill the purpose for which they are born. This book is about discovering that purpose and accessing the wealth necessary in fulfilling it.
We live in one of the most prosperous nations on the face of this earth. It is one of the centers of the earth in terms of ethnic diversity, religious tolerance, and financial acuity. So, in this most prosperous land, why do so many families suffer financially?
If you will observe the front of the Great Seal, you will notice that it gives subtle secrets as to how wealth is produced. Note that a structure, the pyramid, is built on a vast plain. This signifies that the source of all wealth is the land.
Since the beginning of earth’s history, the land has been an important foundation of wealth. It is from the land that we are fed. It is from the land that we find gold, diamonds, and minerals. It is on the land that we build homes and properties. The timber and steel we use to build homes and buildings all come from the land. The secret is first in owning and managing the land and its resources.
The second source of wealth found in the Great Seal is the pyramid itself. Many generations later, we now see that people organized to work for a common goal have been the single greatest wealth-building element of all time. Today we call this the corporation or the network.
These organizations grow out of cooperation of people guided by a common cause. That cause can be to create, produce and market products. It could be to develop and implement great humanitarian endeavors that relieve suffering and hunger. Whatever the cause, the corporation (and similar organizations), have emerged as one of the greatest sources of wealth.
Those who understand the message of the Great Seal will be able to create and produce wealth. You will notice that the pyramid must be constructed on the land. Therefore, land is primary. Whether from the land or from the organization, all wealth flows to the top of the pyramid. It is just as significant that we understand this principle: Wealth flows both to and from the top of the structure.
The mission of the Perecon Institute is to save a generation from poverty through providing a financial education. To this end we welcome you to this powerful subject – Purpose of Wealth. There is a time for every purpose under the heaven.
Chapter 1
Wealth Defined
The beginning of wisdom is to call all things by their right name. – Chinese Proverb
There are several types of wealth. There is monetary wealth (cash/money), assets (land/collectibles), success (ability to create or to make things happen), and influence or good favor (abundance and overall prosperity).
Wealth (Type 1) – Monetary
Some of the wealthiest people on the planet have sufficient cash assets to fund major endeavors such as building libraries and museums. When we look at names such as Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Getty, we are reminded of their wealth by virtue of their great philanthropic giving. Some things can only be accomplished
