The nervousness was something she always experienced. Even though she was only nineteen, Ginny was about to start her fourth job and she was realizing that the experience of her first three periods of employment wasn’t making beginning her fourth any easier. Her foot tapped nervously as she waited in the reception area on her first day and she couldn’t shake off her apprehension. The sound of the voice almost made her jump and she glanced to her left to see the man standing looking at her.

Miss Carter? he repeated.
