About this ebook

Remember when you met your soul mate? Remember how everything was absolutely perfect and even though you couldn't explain it, you just knew this match was meant to be? Well, "Junior" is just like that. Except...instead of everything being absolutely perfect, it's utterly deadly......Renee, middle aged and bored out of her mind, winds up in a bar in the middle of the night, on a Wednesday of all days, only to end up in the middle of attempted murder and mayhem.

    Chapter 1

What the hell possessed me to come into a bar by myself? This bar especially. I don’t smoke anymore and none of my smoking friends are here with me, so why would I choose a smoking bar? And for the love of Howie Evil, why would I get out of my comfortable bed to come here? It is 11:00 PM on a Wednesday for crying out loud. I’m too old for this shit. What 41 year old gets all gussied up and goes out alone to a Podunk bar in the middle of the night? I could have come in a t-shirt and sweats and these clowns wouldn’t know the difference. Whatever. I’m here in this shitty dive bar, and for reasons that defy logic. I’m thinking maybe the dream from last night has something to do with it. Ever since that damned dream I feel like a fish on a hook.

Now that I’m here though, I admit the voyeur in me is finding this place amusing. It’s fun to be the only sober person in a place full of rowdy drunken jackasses, badasses, and skanks. Just look at the girl over in the corner, throwing herself at a table full of men she has yet to realize are gay and they keep trying to get her to leave. That is some funny shit! And check out what’s going on in the opposite corner. The women aren’t gay, but damn that drunken fool can’t see they’re doing everything except hitting him to get him to vamoose. Shit. All this smoke in here is making me wish I hadn’t quit. Hey now, what’s this? That guy at the end of the bar by himself is pretty good looking. But why in the hell would he have chosen to wear such an awful hair piece though? I mean, I didn’t even think those things were still sold, what with Bossley and their hair club for men. He’s got a pretty nice body too. Hell, he’d be smoking
