What Sexual Behavior is Legal for a Teenager in Virginia?

If we expect teenagers to make good decisions about their sexual behavior then we have to let them know what the rules are for sexual behavior. This booklet explores the actual Code of Virginia Laws for sexual behavior in Virginia and helps teenagers examine how they will make decisions in their life about sexuality. The book uses an analogy of a teenager receiving their driver’s license. We have classes and books to teach teenagers what the rules are about driving. Then it is the teenager's responsibility to decide what laws about driving they are going to follow and which laws they are not going to follow. Sexual behavior is similar only we don't do a very good job of letting teenagers know what the "rules" are about sexual behavior. So how is a teenager supposed to make an informed decision if they don't know what the rules are for sexual behavior? The book does not tell the teenagers what decisions to make; it simply gives them the rules and helps them to make their own informed decisions.
