Launched on May 17th, 2009, Minecraft is a name which has been on every game lover’s lips. Developed by Markus Notch Persson, Minecraft’s addictive nature made it the recipient of such wide acclaim that it soon prompted Persson to release versions of Minecraft for other gaming platforms like the Android, iOS and the Xbox 360.
