About this ebook

Aubrey Carlisle is a first grade teacher. She's also a 6'2", leather-wearing, motorcycle-riding killer of pedophiles. The fact that Aubrey has no emotions makes what she does even easier.

Aubrey gets her information from Source, a 17-year-old who was abducted and abused when he was eight. Source is a computer genius who can find where and when a pedophile will strike before the cops do.

Detective Tim Braver knows Aubrey's secret. Like half the force, he'd love to throw her a parade. But murder is murder and Aubrey is wanted by the police.

In The Ninja Agenda, an Aubrey Carlisle Short, Aubrey brings her Kawasaki Ninja in for repairs. But she is suspicious about the way the owner treats his young son. He dishes out physical abuse instead of sexual abuse. It's all the same to Aubrey. This man has to pay.

I have a thing for the guys that go from house to house cleaning people’s pools. It’s not a thing like my heart going pitter-pat because they’ve got these taut, tawny bods. No. It’s because a pool cleaner was my first kill.

I lived in Gainesville, Florida as a student and as an au pair. But you’ve heard that story before. Besides, this guy on the other side of the pool from me was happening now. He had collected the little Miller boy almost a week ago, from one of his pool clients. Paulie Miller hadn’t shown up yet, so I was hoping he was still alive. I knew it was false hope. The pedophiles never keep their prey that long. Still, it had taken Source several days longer than usual to get a bead on Donnie Talbot. But he did.

Now I stood across the width of someone’s pool, dressed in black leathers and wearing a leather hood. I didn’t really care if Donnie figured out I was a woman. He wasn’t going to live long enough to tell anyone.

I didn’t watch his feet for clues which way he would run. I watched his eyes. That’s where I would catch his tell. They were looking away from this screened-in pool’s gate. I had this crazy feeling Donnie was going to try and run right through the patio’s Fiberglas screening. He was big enough and strong enough and stupid enough to try it.

As he bent down to make his move, I picked up that net-on-a-pole these guys use to scoop out the pool scum. Seemed appropriate enough. I used to use this little voice synthesizer, I bought at the Spy Store in Dadeland, that made me sound like a guy. It wasn’t really that little and I had to keep it in a pocket; pull it out when I needed it. Had to keep up the Mr. Vengeance image, you know. But my genius friend Source figured out a smaller device that I sewed right into the mouth opening of the mask. Keeps both my hands free.

"You may break your way through that screening,
