About this ebook

Yeast infections (also known as candidiasis or thrush) are extremely common today in men, women, and especially those with immature or compromised immune systems. A yeast infection is triggered by the yeast organism Candida albicans, which lives in abundance naturally in the vagina and mouth. Candida albicans can also live to a lesser extent in the skin and bowel. There only begins to be a problem when there is an overgrowth of it, causing thrush - more commonly known as a yeast infection. Thrush can take many forms, the most common of which are oral and vaginal. It is very common in babies and it often develops in the diaper area.

The body’s immune system can be compromised by pollution, the overuse of drugs, poor diet, injury, surgery, or sickness causing an environment that allows the candida to flourish, which results in thrush. Other causes of a yeast infection include antibiotics, immuno-suppressive drugs, hormonal changes, menstruation, and stress. Factors that can aggravate and worsen thrush include poor personal hygiene, scented bath oils, high sugar intake, intercourse, and tight clothing.

This book will focus mainly on vaginal thrush, and to some extent oral thrush. All the treatments found here are safe and will treat any type of yeast infection, but it is extremely wise to consult a physician before trying anything new. The treatments in this book are not meant to be used on infants, unless otherwise approved by your physician. If your yeast infection does not clear up after a week of using a treatment plan prepared from this book, you should see a doctor immediately; this is indicative a much more serious problem.

The symptoms of the yeast infections covered in this book include: soreness and discomfort during intercourse, stinging pain during urination, an itchy vaginal discharge that is white in color, sore and dry vulva that is also itchy and red, and sometimes a red rash that can extend down the thighs.

A lot of time, energy, research and love went into the making of this manual; and it is the purpose of this manual to provide you with the easiest, safest and healthiest home remedies for yeast infection.

It is my hope that you, the reader, achieve the solution to your problem, and I know that you will have great success once you have applied these simple home treatments for yeast infection.
