Aaron Sinclare
While Mr. Sinclare has spent 40 years in sales, marketing, and research he is, at heart, a lifelong consumer advocate, student and teacher. His interest in Green Resources and Solar Power dates back over 30 years when he constructed from "off the self parts" a workable solar heater for the family swimming pool. His passion for the subjects never waned. During his time as an insurance representative, the topic of Health Insurance became extremely important. He worked with hundreds of people who were uninsured or terribly under insured. Most had extremely limited knowledge on the topic. Thus the continued education of his clients. Mr. Sinclare makes no claim that his books are the definitive treatise on the topic covered; they are not intended to be. The purpose of his books is to offer insight into the topic and through the Q and A process set you on the road to understanding the benefits to be derived. Mr. Sinclare's books present a compelling case for exploring, investigation, and discovery.

A personal message from the author
Introduction - Do you know what your health plan covers?
When I worked in the health insurance industry, I found that most people had no idea what was included or excluded in their policies. My goal, then, was to teach, as much as possible to, my clients, about various parts of their health plans and to give them the best program for their financial and social (family) situations.
I have made it my life goal to learn and to teach as much as possible. I take every situation whether it seems good or bad, at the time, and delve into it for something to learn and to teach. My career has allowed me to work with numerous people who care about those they serve. During that time, I learned that people have an insatiable appetite for information that would help them lead better lives. It further allowed me to help many people to discover the answers to the questions they knew they had and many they didn’t know at the time.
This book is meant to be an easy read with helpful information that, I hope, will give you insight to the health insurance industry and to help you discover what you need in health insurance coverage for you and your family.
Most people have never read past the first page of their policy; have you? Beyond the first page of the policy, most people have no idea what's covered and what's not. Do you know that not all health plans are the same when it comes to coverage? Do you know if your health plan has managed care provisions? Does your insurance company use Reasonable and Customary
or Usual and Customary
schedules when paying claims? Is your plan an HMO, a PPO, Basic Care or Managed Care plan?
People know more about the purchase of a car then they do about the coverage included in their health plan. A car is tangible. You can compare fuel economy, room, user surveys on comfort, and more. Health insurance falls into that ambiguous category of unknowns. Industry insiders put vague terms and phrases in policies so you can't figure them out.
When people change health plans, they usually do so to reduce premiums. All too often, they simply trust the agent to
